Is anyone else starting to feel better about the possibility of getting rid of Obama in November and then repealing the ObamacareTax/Redistribution of wealth scam? I want - SO BADLY - to believe that the republicans will find the strength to go on the attack and FIGHT this.....but they just seem so meek and quiet (or is it just the MSM suppressing the outrage?). This is our chance for a repeat of 2010 x10 and they better not blow it!

PAT CADDELL: Taxes and Trust - The Achilles Heels of Obamacare and Obama

The Political Cudgel--and the Embedded Nail

The Supreme Court’s Obamacare-affirming decision--which can be summed up as “Read John Roberts’ lips, it’s a tax”--has put a political cudgel in the hands of Republicans. The cudgel, of course, is taxes. But a huge nail is also embedded in the cudgel: the fundamental deceit of Obamacare. Yet in the week since the Court’s decision, Republicans have yet to demonstrate that they truly grasp the significance of this weapon--or that they can effectively wield it.

Why? Some Republicans are worried that the fight over Obamacare distracts from the issue of the economy. What these Republicans fail to realize is that healthcare and the economy are inextricably linked; Americans now realize that Obamacare was a detour on the road to economic recovery, so to remind them of one is to remind them of the other. And the two issues, compounded, are all the more powerful.

Other Republicans believe that the healthcare battle has been lost, that Obamacare is just another permanent ratcheting of the welfare state. What these Republicans fail to see is that the “ObamaTax” issue provides an opportunity to reignite healthcare into the white-hot issue that it was in 2010. And if the 2012 elections were to be a repeat of 2010, huge changes in the status quo would be not only possible, but inevitable.

This November, if President Obama goes before the voters on the defensive--that is, on a rickety platform of defending Obamacare as a tax increase--it is he who has a huge problem. After all, his healthcare program was sold as a boon to the middle class, with a few regulatory sticks included therein. But if Obamacare can be exposed for what it is--a huge tax increase, the reality of which Obamacare proponents did their best to obscure--then the probability of his survival shrinks dramatically. To be sure, such an exposing of Obamacare as the ObamaTax will not be easy; the White House and the Democrats, as well as their handmaidens in the Main Stream Media, will do their best to armor up against any attack on the tax issue.

So Romney must wield that cudgel, and wield it hard. And so must Republicans, because if the campaign against Obamacare--the ObamaTax--is to be truly effective, it must be a top-to-bottom message. Indeed, as we shall see, the anti-ObamaTax message could be even stronger for down-ballot Republicans than for Romney himself.

The challenge is to keep the focus on the tax--the ObamaTax. Obamacare is many things, but the biggest single thing is the thing that they said it wasn’t--the ObamaTax.

The American people have shown that they can tolerate incompetent policy. But what they will not tolerate is being lied to. As a Jesuit might say, incompetence is a venial sin, but deception is a mortal sin. And so if troubling questions about Barack Obama’s incompetence turn into serious concerns about his character, the President will lose.

A report I saw this morning.....83% of doctors thinking of quitting

Due to the O'blahcare tax. And care strangling regulations. Obviously

even they see the downside of this tax.

Im optomistic about Nov....2010 saw Conservatives take the House,

and IMO thats all that has kept the Democrats at bay.

O'blah's only option since then has been Executive Orders, or rule by

decree.

It looks like we'll be able to hold onto the House, with a 51 seat majority,

that chamber of Congress will stay in Conservative control IMO

The Demo's have a 4 seat majority in the Senate, and it looks like they

will lose that, putting both Houses in our control.

Lastly, Conservatives are fired up this election, like in 2010, and Lib's

are depressed......Not good for O'blah ;)

Morris's poll of likely voters has Romney way ahead, thats the only poll

that counts.....So, with the Whitehouse & Congress in the hands of

the Republicans, I see all of the new taxes being eliminated, including

the new Health Care taxes.

Not only that, but the Romney campaign is saying they will open up

oil exploration, and complete the pipeline from Canada. Both economy

stimulating actions. With a business friendly environment in Washington,

and economy killing regulations being tossed out, the money being

held now by Corporations and Investors will be used to start to build

the Economy again, and create jobs.....Everyone is waiting to see what

will happen withthe Elections.

Like I said, Im optimistic. Im looking forward to a booming return of the

US in the near future.

Thank you Cris, for your optimism and encouragement. A friend told me to keep my chin up - that this will all work out - and I'm trying. Seems like we have to hunt down every bit of good news as it's the liberal media's goal to discourage us. I hope you're right about everything and the momentum will grow and more people will wake up. I want it all - the house, the senate and the whitehouse....is that too much to ask? ;)

O'blah is getting killed on donations too....he's 35 million behind

Romney for June. Thats 2 months in a row that he is behind. That says

volumes to me.....The people want him gone.

Every attack on Romney is being countered with proof that O'blah is

guilty of doing exactly what he is complaining about.

Todays example.....Outsourcing jobs to the rest of the world.....While blasting

Romney yesterday for sending jobs overseas...Its shown thats exactly what

the Demo's have been doing for almost 4 years.

O'blah cant seem to get traction on any issue, Division & race baiting isnt working

this time, every issue seems to lose him votes, either by isolating Conservative Demo's

or angering his liberal base.

I dont see him getting back in strictly because the bottom line is,its all about the

economy.....The one issue he stays away from and has no intention of tackling

before Nov.

I remember the Carter-Reagan election, we were told over & over by the MSM,

how well Carter was doing, and how poorly things were going for Reagan.....They

said, without a doubt Carter would get another 4 years.....What I see this time,

is the same kind of stagnant economy as then.....4 years of it, brought on by

Demo policies......The difference now is, Reagan had to deal with a Congress

controlled by the Democrats. Meaning it took longer and more fighting to get

economy changing policies in action.

Looks to me like Conservatives will be breaking down the doors of the election

sites, and Liberals are going to stay home.

The latest MSM, ABC/Washington Post voter poll is laughable. :D

Purposely skewing the numbers to show that O'blah is tied with Romney

47 to 47.....Unfortunately they must also post the the category of people

polled

Democrat........33%

Republican.....24%

Independent...36%

Not sure where the other 7% are at, must be 'no opinion'

Hardly worth looking at, unless were looking for Media bias.

O'blahs numbers are so bad, the only way to make him look

good is by lying about his polling.

Another worthless message from the MSM, as always, meant to discourage

Conservative folks. The same was going on in 1980....The silent Majority

came out, voted, and sent Carter packing.

The Libs are going to have a harder time this season however, Voter ID

laws are in place in 31 States now.....Its a lot harder to cheat in the majority

of the country these days, and Im seeing States that were considered

purple 2 weeks ago, now being solid Red, or Conservative.

Actually, my own State of Az was in that purple category 2 weeks ago.....

Obviously due to a misinterpreted or flat out lying poll.

The mistake has been rectified, and we are now solidly Red....speaking

of which, how the heck did Conservatives get the color Red? That is so

obviously a Liberal color....Probably a PC thing, I know it started in the

2000 election

Thanks Patty  Here ya go....

House GOP ‘Will Repeal Obamacare’ Tomorrow — With Growing support From Dems

House Republicans have scheduled a repeal vote for the Affordable Care Act tomorrow and are expecting some support from across the isle.

“Every Republican will be supporting the full repeal of Obamacare tomorrow” said Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan in an interview with The Blaze. Jordan, who is also Chairman of the Republican Study Committee sounded optimistic that some democrats will be joining the 242 Republicans voting for repeal.

Jordan cited his Democratic colleague, Rep. Larry Kissell (N.C.) who has said he will break with his party leadership and Nancy Pelosi in voting to repeal the healthcare law. Jordan said he thinks “we can get some more and were working on it.”

The GOP will use the vote in tactical messaging against the bill and White House. Raising awareness on the unpopularity of the bill is one of the first priorities for the RNC this election cycle according to Chairman Reince Priebus. The GOP expects fresh Democratic opposition to the bill that will add support to that messaging.

The administration has attempted to make a victory out of the court’s decision two weeks ago, but has since strayed away from the issue and has doggedly refused to call the Individual Mandate a tax. The bill remains stubbornly unpopular with the voting public, with a recent Gallup poll showing that 46 percent of Americans think Obamacare would hurt the economy.

“North Carolina Reps. Mike McIntyre (D) and Kissell have both said they will support repeal. Kissell joined the Blue Dogs earlier this year amid a tough fight for reelection, and both men made headlines recently for declining to endorse Obama.

“I’ve heard from hundreds and hundreds of people from my district about their opposition to the healthcare law,” Kissell recently told The Charlotte Observer. “I voted against it originally and I will vote to repeal it.”

But several other Democrats, including Reps. Dan Boren (Okla.) and Mike Ross (Ark.), did not respond to repeated inquiries about how they will vote on Wednesday. Rep. Joe Donnelly (Ind.), who is running for the Senate, has not said how he’ll vote after supporting the law and opposing its repeal.

The Democratic leadership is whipping its members against repeal, but aides said Monday they did not have an estimate of how many will vote with Republicans.”

The hesitation and effort against repeal indicates that Democrats remain very uneasy with the issue. The passage of the bill was a juggernaut in the 2010 election when the GOP used healthcare to sweep into the House majority.

Democrats are counterattacking various Republican house members over the vote, alleging that conservatives in the house are wasting the American peoples time instead of focusing on bigger issues. “Where are the jobs?” has been a Democrat mantra used against the GOP in recent weeks leading up to the repeal vote.

Congressman Jordan emphasized that the House repeal must have Senate approval with 51 votes and the President’s signature to permanently strike down the Affordable Care Act. Rep. Jordan went on to predict the GOP will have these votes after November.

Wednesday’s vote represents the House’s 31st attempt to kill the law as a whole or in part.

The House and Senate are very partisan this year....Thats the

Conservative Republicans in the House working on our behalf. They

are the only thing standing between O'blah & his crew continuing

to destroy our country.

I find it interesting that Demo's will cross the aisle in this hyper-partisan

atmosphere. It is an election year though, and they know what their

constituents will do if they dont vote correctly.

This sort of thing happens every election, the Demo's all of a sudden

become a lot more Conservative.

If they arent thrown out in Nov most will go back to their Liberal ways.

Im convinced it wont matter, with a Conservative controlled Congress,

its game over for the Socialist Movement

I would love for that to be true but I'm less optimistic. I think it will be a looooooooooong time before we see the last of the Socialist Movement. Even if we could deprogram the indoctrinated youth, it is so ingrained in the rest of the libs.....I think it's here to stay.....unless correctly applied conservative values turn things around and prove them wrong (provided they're man/woman enough to admit it). We would need an honest media as well. Oh, and replace half of the teachers from K through College! That would be a good start!

Cris - I agree with Patty - you've made me feel a lot more positive and I thank you for taking the time to share your confident opinions. :)

What I should have said is, the end of the Socialist Movement

for the time being. I get on a rant and sometimes forget to say IMO,

or qualify the statement I've made. ;)

And I agree 100% with BrokeNoMore. Eliminating the Dept of Education

along with a few more Departments is a good step in the right direction.

I have a lot of Teacher friends that feel the same. Its a one size fits all

disaster that should be handled by the individual states. Allowing control

to be closer to the individuals involved.

Oh yeah....I can hear it now.....The Liberals will say, Republicans are mean,

and they hate minorities, & children, & old people, & they want dirty air & water

and they are racist, & only want tax cuts for the wealthy.

The same mantra over & over.....Oh, I forgot their best one...Democrats & Republicans

are really the same......So you should just vote for a Democrat anyway because those

other guys are just mean.....Even though were all the same & kick them out because

we are the better side of the same thing
