It is scheduled to host Iraq's Arab summit which brings together the heads of the kings of the Member States in the Arab League on 29 March current, and the move is the biggest international event organized by the country since 2003. This will also bode well happening just prior to the Summit... and with an official media blackout inside the Summit... who knows... we just may be there before ya know it!!! Come On RV Baby!!! Richardk Posted March 27, 2012 Report Share Posted March 27, 2012 I'd have to say I'm a bit impressed that 21 countries will be represented. It sure would have been nice if Iraq had a full and functioning GOI. I'm curious if some showing early and others staying after is for some encouragement before, then some tongue Lashing after. IMO the Arab community respects the Kurds and what they've done and will let Maliki know to look north for the road to a working GOI and economy. I know by wishing for the three different major factions to do something they haven't been able to do for over thousands of years is a big wish. Just work things out for their people, just maybe if they can, the citizens of Iraq will. it's a shame most can't read, if they could just read about Iraqi history they'd find out they are all from the same tribes not that long ago and basically lived in peace.
