Am I reading this right? They said Malaki accepted the nomination and that Parliament needed to vote on it here. This may be accurate!

zigmeister
Again another reason to distrust the media in Iraq. They too have an agenda. They all have their feet sitting in a different political block in Iraq imo. So it seems to me Maliki does do something like a appoint a new defense minister, there will be another article denying it. Remember Maliki's resignation? Yes some media is used to cause fear, and confusion, keep the Iraqi people dazed and confused and hope far from reach for a Iraq making its way to democracy, and you have a very unhappy people. uncirculd
Chaired by Mr. Saadoun al-Dulaimi, Minister of Defense It looks like he is still proxy. Not voted, not the one. I want to be wrong. I wonder how long Maliki can or will continue in this. There has got to be some interest in keeping some peace there. But he wants to be the one and only one in charge.
