I don't think they will wait until 2011. They government can get hold of your cash anyway through withholding taxes. Unfortunately, the only way of avoiding it is seeking tax advice!!!!

Okay, there was a thread opened about Warka Bank closing on the 1st July until 4th July to do something to there banking systems. Some people thought it might be the fact that they were applying the 6 monthly interest to our accounts which makes sense. However, I have just checked my account online and my interest to 30th June 2010 has already been applied!!!! So........................Why are they closing? I might be barking up the wrong tree but do you think this might be preparation for RV?

You guy's can read all the stuff that they put out on a daily basis which is all drivel!!! Iraq is not in control of this RV. The countries that have been bailing them out for years are running the show behind the scenes like US, Britain, France, China, Germany etc. They will not allow this charade to continue when all our economies are in such a mess but one simple revaluation of the IQD will pull the rest of the world out of recession....................... This will happen and it will happen fast when it does because the markets are crying out for it to happen and most importantly IRAQ owe us!!!!!

There are so many people selling the old notes on ebay it's unreal. The worst thing is people are actually bidding on them! Okay, I just want to make sure that I have it right in my mind the sequence of events. I thought that the Dinar would not RV until Iraq was removed from Chapter VII. The reason I think this way is because for us to benefit from RV of IQD it needs to be internationally tradable ie. Forex. Now I believe under Chapter VII Iraq is prevented from doing any international currency transfer's unless it's for core essentials being food etc. So............unless I am mistaken there is noway possible the IQD can revalue anytime before being released from Chapter VII. I need someone to confirm whether this is right or wrong. Thanks.

To be honest if the UN have to step in then I can see no reason an RV will happen soon because if they can't get the government sorted then they are not likely to be able to manage a budget which we see each day with these auctions and all the borrowing going on with the world bank etc. It time we sit back and relax and forget about the RV all together and get on with our lives and wait for the headlines to appear on the news.

This is BAD! However, I think it's more of a threat and show of force to Iran so they sort themselves out. THS USA will not allow this to flow in to Iraq under any circumstances because of the funds that are invested.

I don't understand why they have to locate the Kuwaiti missing bodies because at the time it was an invasion ie. WAR you lose people like in any other war. Just look at the First and Second world war's millions of people missing and never recovered do you still see Germany under Sactions? Okay, I am very pro RV but at the end of the day there is nobody on this forum or anyone with contacts that have access to information relating to the RV!!! Some people make outright lies and some people read alot of articles and try and translate what they have read in to something positive for all of us to take on board but it is there opinion only. People who hang-on these statement's in my mind are absolutely stupid and need to read themselves and keep a level head in relation to this investment.

This is about as clear as it's going to get that the RV is along way off from happening..........................................looking for more loans if they were to RV they wouldn't have to so there your answer in black and white start looking towards the end of the year and don't listen to these people who tell us week after week the same old b u l l s h i t !!!!!
