Politics BREAKING NEWS NA meeting started with Maliki, Jafari attending 26/05/2012 22:29:00 Baghdad (NINA) – At 8:18 pm Saturday, May 26, the National Alliance started a meeting with the attendance of the Alliance's Leader, Ibrahim al-Jafari, and Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki. Informed source told NINA that the meeting is being held at the residence of the Alliance's Leader, Ibrahim al-Jafari, and is attended by the Alliance's leaders and its Political Body; the meeting will discuss the political situation and results of Erbil and Najaf meetings. The meeting will also discuss the issue of withdrawing confidence from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, which some political blocs are calling for, in addition to outstanding political issues. Earlier in the day,NA member, Mohammed Sadoun al-Sayhoud said that the Alliance will affirm the commitment of all political sides with President Jalal Talabani's 8-points initiative.
