without even reading the article I can answer the premise..... Religion by definition equates to man's feeble and doomed to fail attempts to reach GOD...like the Tower of Babel....IMHO GOD does not want your "religion", my "religion" or anyone's "religion" for that matter....GOD desires a relationship one which HE HIMSELF fostered by sending HIS SON to die for the sins of all mankind....AS HE PROMISED IN THE GARDEN AFTER THE FALL......and because as Paul told Timothy : 1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Into the breech many are willing to run and offer their "spin" on "religion" for filthy lucre (dirty money) : Peter: 1Pe 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Paul : *** 1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
