May be some people just assume there is a new lower denoms in the new ATM's. To prove it right is Just wait and see if some ordinary iraqi citizens ever try to withdraw money from the new ATM's. May be someone in dinarvet have iraqi friends who live in iraqi country can ask them directly.

Let's see from 5 cents to 3.47 USD ( 3.47 USD : 5 cents=69.4 folds ) increase by almost 70 folds. So, for example, if this is applied to iraqi dinar, then 1:1,460=0.00068 USD X 70 FOLDS=0.047 USD. That means after the IQD RI , the rate equals to almost=5 cents. This rate= 5 cents is the same rate as when iraqi attacked kuwaiti. Again, i just make this calculation as an example, not for real. We can only hope the real RV / RI for iraqi dinar will be higher than 5 cents.

Exactly. The bank will take a profit $$ from the spread and the fees. And i think most of the dinar holders don't want to walk out of a bank with suitcases of $$ because they don't want to attract the attention.
