  1. Of course you're not depressed. As long as there are " newbies" to be influenced with your amazing financial acumen, the dinar will continue to be bought. Keep the false optimism going. You don't live in Philly by any chance do you?
  2. Well, caz, if you'd just give us your opinion on how the dinar scenario plays out, we wouldn't rag on you all the time. It's just that you NEVER give you thoughts about it, only criticize people who don't fit your RV dreams. That's what make you sound just like MtGoat, and we ALL know what a shill he is.
  3. Well, I'm no king, but I eat pretty well. Especially compared to 75% of the rest of the world. Can it all crash and burn? Yes. Is it likely? Nope. We will sometimes deal with large corrections in the market like in 1999 and 2008, but the world will continue to turn. Diversify your money. Pay off your credit cards. Keep some silver and gold for the "what ifs", and stay firmly in God's presence through prayer. Give your time and money to charity, Wounded Warriors, Israel, and St. LUKES Children's hospital, just to name a few worthy ones. And be happy you are an American.
  4. Well, caz, what's your financial plan? Share your immense wisdom with us. I bet its hold until it RV's or until it folds and you lose your entire investment. You seem to only have that strategy in your head. No in-betweens. Just hold for the next 20 years until they demonitize what you bought. That's DB's strategy, but now he's all depressed because it ain't working out like he thougnt. You need to quit harping on lobsters so much. At least they offer alternative strategies to the ever so boring "Go RV". Isn't it funny how you don't hear that very much anymore. Is the dinar a failure? Not yet it ain't, but it sure has changed in the last 6 years hasn't it?
  5. Caz, there's absolutely nothing wrong with providing alternative points of view. I remember reading DB's postings a couple of years ago and he was gung ho, buying dinar right and left, but now he sounds depressed that his big RV never happened. No telling how deep into the currency he got himself, but I bet he is NOT buying any more dinar now. He finally came to the reality check that old lobsters like Keeps used to try to explain to him, but to no avail. Now old dB realizes he may have made a big mistake. That's what the lobster tank presents....alternative scenarios to the big RV. I don't think there are many out there who still believe in that except the "newbies" to caz's shill-like rantings.
  6. SD, that's all good and great, but remember the one predominant fact here. All world currencies are fiat. There is no gold, silver or platinum backing each bill printed. It's all thin air. The value of a country's currency is based on its economy and on the faith other people place on it. America has the strongest economy and the people of the world therefore consider it as a stable reserve currency. We don't yoyo our dollar's value like the Chinese do. That's what causes the stock market jitters. Investors don't completely trust the Chinese economy, but for some great historical reason, people trust the USA to stay strong and vibrant. Even after a run of 8 years by a moron. It's our great middle class which pumps confidence into the rest of the world. And our Constitution which provides the freedoms that no other country in the world adheres to. We are the great standard bearer of global finance. That is why iraq will NEVER be able to dedollarize their marketplace. The common iraqi just trusts the old greenback more than he trusts the dinar. And it's only going to get worse with the rise of the peg to 1180.
  7. People, the "goat" is a proven liar with a long history of lying. He, not she, is a dinar pumper. Period. If you enjoy reading his blatherings then have at it, but please don't insult our intelligence by thinking the "goat" is anything more than a paid shill. If you want more information on iraq, then read the articles put out by Yota. They are difficult to understand many times, especially because of the translation glips, but at least it's nobody pumping the naive. We've had enough of that over the 10 years this has been going on. The "goat" is no different than TNT, or Blaino, or hundreds of other shills. They make money off people's naivety. And this boy in Philly has been pulling the wool over lots of folks's eyes for far too long. Flush the "goat".
  8. Here's my take. First the Iraqi dinar has never been internationally traded. The fabled $3 exchange rate was only accepted in Iraq and nowhere else. But iraq has alot of oil. I have some fading faith that the GOI will get things going again. But I am becoming less and less willing to just accept the status quo of the typical dinarians philosophy. I am pessimistic about any revalue for quite some time. I am very glad that I reduced my exposure by 75% . I know that won't make caz happy because she doesn't like anyone presenting anything other than lockstep to the big RV. Caz will respond to this posting very quickly. Watch and see.
  9. Caz, you'very been wrong for about eight years now. But you' made alot of money on this, haven't you?
  10. People, this is iraq. Nothing they do makes any sense. But raising the official exchange rate to 1182 is NOT a good thing. We are losing value when it goes in that direction. I don't like losing any more money.
  11. Hey caz. With your shill-like opinions, what do you think about the CBI auctionING off dollars at the New rate? It sure looks like the dinar is going in the wrong direction, as in, we're losing money! Please ask your dinar connections what they suggest we do. Maybe buy more? Huh?
  12. Add a few more "LOL's" caz. Then we will all know you're up to your usual blatherings. What the boys are saying is true. You, however, are up to your usual shill-like ways. Go sell some Zimabwe, caz. I heard they're ready to "pop" any day now!
  13. But Rock, shining a light on caz is what I do. I enjoy exposing shill-like behavior because it usually points to shill-like employment with shill-like dealers. Nothing wrong with dealers. Without them I wouldn't have been able to get my money back. But at least be honest with the folks. Don't be a MtGoat, who lives in Philly, but presents himself as living as a woman in the Bavarian alps with "min kinder". HaHa, what a joke.
  14. Good morning my shill-like fellow dinar holder. How's business today?
  15. Like I said. Same old shill-like caz. No substance. Just hot air, like your balloon company. Who are you really, caz? Inquiring minds want to know.
  16. Same old caz. Never gives her opinion, only berates those who don't March lock-step with the GO RV crowd. You never change your persona. Always attack dog. You NEVER give your opinions about where our investment is going. NEWSFLASH: the world changes caz. Investment strategies change accordingly. But your mantra never changes. Very suspicious of shill-like behavior. Who are you working for caz? Who..........? Is your golf foursome composed of foreign currency exchange managers?
  17. Same caz as always. Your opinion never changes. Your attacks never cease. You never offer your own evaluation of the dinar situation, only ridicule others who aren't in marchstep. I have always questioned your motives here. Too much shill-like behavior to suit me. Now before you misquote me, I said shill-LIKE behavior. Tons of posters have called for your opinions on the future of the dinar but I have never read one response from you pertaining to that question. You got into a two page name-calling shrill diatribe with Social down below but never ONE time gave any answers to his questions on how, at this time, the CBI could RV the dinar. Very shill-like behavior if you ask me.
  18. It's me viewing from my own version of reality with the dinar. It may not be your view, probably isn't, but that's okay. We all have our own ideas about how, or when or if, the dinar will ever pop. I had reached a point of frustration where it just made sense to me to sell off all but about 25% of my holdings. I feel so much better now. I'm still in it for a revalue, but at a much lower level to my own investment risk. Everyone is different in this. I am not endorsing what I did for you or any other dinar holder. We each make these decisions for ourselves.
  19. You people are being very pessimistic. What happened to all the GO RV spirit? Just because it hasn't budged off the 1166 peg in seven years doesn't mean it won't "pop" tomorrow.
  20. I agree with you Social. There was a time back in 2012 when they were really going after the redenomination, loping the zeros, printing new currency without the zeros which would be 1 to 1 with the dollar. Of course that would have required turning in all your present dinar and exchanging for the new dinar. That was a nightmare scenario for dinar holders in the US, but luckily they didn't do it. The MOF got cold feet. Now, they are just sitting there with no money and dang little in the way of prospects. That's why I sold 75% of mine last week. Kept a couple of mil just for old times sake. Caz says she will buy it from me for $1000 per mil when I finally sell it. I'm quite sure that caz is not telling me the truth.
  21. Caz believes in the big RV, Social dinar believes it's a big farce, and I just sold off 75% of my holdings! Ain't life grand. There's room under the big dinar tent for everyone.
  22. Let me quote caz, " wake up people, and come to terms with your choices and move on". That's a great point, caz. That's exactly what I did last week when I reduced my exposure to the dinar. Why don't you do also, unless you still believe in the big millionaire making RV after all this time. Do you...really?
  23. It is what it is. In for a penny, in for a pound. You gain some, you lose some. The cliques are flowing off of my tongue like bees are drawn to honey. The Iraqi dinar......what would we do without it? It's just money. You can't take it with you when you die. Death and taxes...the two great certainties of this life.
