From everything i have been hearing, the RV will happen prior to the introduction of the new currency so they can start to attract Iraqis to the banking environment. My view is that this is a clear sign of a Revaluation. There is no need to leave a 1,000 dinar in circulation or create significance in one's mind or history if it's value is equivalent to 1 dinar. That may have happened to those countries. Not one on the list is Iraq. lol You go a head and believe what you want. I have read way to many articles and documents that pretty tell you they are going to raise the value of the dinar to 1 to 1 or about. The the articles themselves recently said, 'raise the value of the dinar, then, delete the zeros.' The SIGIR report mentions nothing about a re-denomination or LOP. Even the quote you brought in said 'The reform would have made the dinar’s value slightly less than $1.' I guess you are having trouble reading? And if you did your Iraq homework, you would also see there is supporting proof from not only the CBI, but economists in Iraq. I think it is funny when these LOPsters try to convince us of this and have no Iraqi proof. Yea, let's compare those 3rd world countries to Iraq. lol No lap dance for you!

Do you think the CBI would be planning a LOP and the US Gov would report to the Congress in the SIGIR report a raise in the IQD value just below the dollar? I don't think it works that way. Ali also said something about taking at least another 2 -years lol, yet the CBI said numerous times in the last week, they are ready to do this at a moments notice once the GOI comes on board. In fact, Saleh of the CBI said they needed to accelerate the implementation of the project to delete the zeros, before of evil consequences. They are educating the Iraqi people, saying, what we are going to do here will not change the value of your currency (meaning your 1000 dinar is still 1000 dinar). Well, i remember about a few weeks ago that Highlander had that same theory, that the CBI was the bad guy and the GOI was the good guy trying to cause a RV. Read the chat Kaperoni did on this, just a few days ago he clearly proved that to be wrong by CBI articles. That the CBI's plan is not to LOP. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that this cannot happen unless the purchasing power for the dinar changes for the people. The shear significance of this seems that it would be a disaster.
