DVets, These are only the figures from the region of Kurdistan which accounts for 17% of the entire piece of the Iraqi pie. A dollar can differ in purchasing power regionally even in our country the USA. Wages can vary also. So the rate is not as yet a true reflection of what they could revalue at. It could be higher....IMO

In paragraph 4 Notice the point a "visitor returning to the joys of the past" that is a reference to a strong Dinar. A strong Dinar is not going to turn around the poverty and lower standards of living as stated. This is a truth that prosperity is not going to happen quick enough for the average Iraqi. This article is analizing 2? ways of RV I think anyway. But it does seem to indicate that there is still a bit of confusion just how the currency will gain value....IMO

The agreed price was 6K Dinars per LPG container and they are getting because of market price 12K dinars per LPG container. This is part of a $17 BILLION USD DEAL. Is it not obvious that the gas containers are being priced at an RV rate? Has anyone seen the size of these so-called Bottles? Why pound on the GURU's ? people get anxiety over false stories becuase they are so damn greedy! they need to look inside themselves and not blame the pumpers for their unhappiness. Right on JWJW their was already an article recently where the CBI official admitted that in Iraq there was only 4 trillion in circulation.It seems obvious that they have systematically already removed the bulk of large currency in Iraq IMO

IMO ; We Dinarians are more educated and up-to-date on the current events going on in Iraq than the writer of this article. We know the government has to be fully seated and elevated out of chapt 7 UN sanctions. The timing of our investment is complex and sophisticated. We are ahead of the curb!!! By the time these so-called forex experts catch up with us, we will be cashing in!!!!! GO RV!!!!!

This is good reasoning.But it would increase the number of notes in circulation.This does the Iraqi people no good becuase they still need the rate of exchange to be more than the USD.
