  1. Me too. One pair of shorts. One stain ridden tee shirt for the BBQ. Flip flops. Tooth brush to brush my tooth. Everything else I will jack from he Hotel or from Stryker's house....He will be drinking. He won't notice
  2. You are seriously jumping to incorrect conclusions. I just checked Iraq Daily News and nothing. Relax...It's just the Iraqi List making noise. No worries...
  3. In other words, the Iraqi list like Allawi more than Maliki. Who duh thunk it? Democrats like Obama more than Romney and vice versa. No news here. Thanks Tony
  4. You had me at "beer". I am simply learning from people like you. Keep up all your valuable help
  5. I'm not putting too much stock in the validity of this "spokesman". Likely more smoke and mirrors in the 11th hour. Curious, but not too concerned...
  6. First of all, if you just posted all that you did from your phone, I am duly humbled. I am looking forward to connecting my Blackberry with my Big Bertha once this is over. I'm not a sharp as many here, but I do know personel from both the US treasury and the IMF along with tech help from Chase bank (I think that was the bank) has been bringing Iraq into the 21st century, so I think they are further along than you have indicated. Your mention of the "major players" has piqued my interest even though I am (apparently) playing with a diffferent puzzle. The UN, IMF, Arab League, USA and Iraq, just to name a few, seem like pretty big guns to me. Back to the puzzle: It appears the National Conference was handled: Check. The budget was approved and needs to be ratified (possibly HCL included): TBA. The lifting of chapter 7 appears all but announced. The defense minister has been agreed upon (finally) and it appears all the ministers, if not seated, will soon be (Erbil). If the IMF has prohibited Iraq from borrowing any money, and their budget is greater than the budget, then where will the money come from? RV maybe? Allawi has been satisfied and the Iraqia list has been included. When I say "paying attention", what have I missed (possibly something)?, but not much. The puzzle is almost together and we are in the home stretch. Prepare to give thanks my friend...
  7. Well said. It was pretty rough in the early days of the good ole USA as well. And yes...we came out smiling
  8. No disrespect, but have you been paying attention in the last 2 weeks? Fortunately, the only opinions at play here are the players, and they have been playing like never before.
  9. I always turn the phone off and put the dog "Gazette" outside. Who am I to talk? I didn't get one either
  10. Sounds like a very telling slip of the tongue by Nujaifi. Good catch gang. See how those naps pay off?
  11. My Dad used to say "Some folks would complain if you hung em with a new rope".
  12. They work graveyard shift... Money won't buy you happiness, but it will dang sure tide you over till you can find it
  13. JNT...Trinity. Simply put: BLOCKBUSTER NEWS! Stryker...think these 2 earned an extra slab of Texas ribs?
  14. This reminds me of a conversation I have had with a guy I see at the gym from time to time. For the last 6 years he has work in security in Iraq (yes he has dinar) and he told me once "The only thing Arabs hate more than infidels is other Arabs. This sorta ties in with their propensity for arguing...
  15. Because the person didn't say what it was, I think it's fair to say it's anyone's guess...
