Sometimes I am comforted by what I don’t know, and this is one of those times. Allawi didn’t bring his crew back to the table just because he likes Joe Biden. There had to be some give and take on his and Maliki’s part to get the train back on the track, which leads me to consider there may be a lot more agreements in the pipeline than they are letting on. Fortunately, there are a lot of very smart people on this forum that see past the smoke (a lot lately) into the fire.

Stryker...you are an ace at reading between the lines. Great job!. +1 to Yota for never sleeping. -
I don't think anyone expected al-Hashemi to sing Maliki's praises. I don't know if al-Hashemi is guilty or not, but he certainly appears to have a lot to answer for. No reason for alarm here.

Allawi is such a drama queen. There is nothing this (guy?) won't say or do to grab a headline. At this point, his main security concern may come from a fed-up dinarian.

Scotti G (Sound Thinking): OOM 1/27/12 JANUARY 28TH, 2012
amhvl replied to Papster's topic in Dinar Rumors
Not plugging for brownie points here, but all the access to the great advise Scotti G gave you can be obtained with a VIP membership. From a business standpoint, a serious investor would be highly remiss (politicially correct for STUPID) to pass on it: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/forum/30-vip-area/ -
Thanks Mailman for putting your stamp of realism on everything. Papster...you da man!

I think both of us are correct to some degree. Whatever happened to abiding by the laws of a (mostly) soverign nation? I say greedy and arrogant because they knowingly bypassed Baghdad and went directly to the Kurds to make their deals with no regard as to the ramifications for Iraq as a whole. Hence the Kurds are thinking (we can do this without Baghdad so lets keep more for ourselves and stall the HCL). Kill the HCL. Boycott the Parliament. Slow or delay any RV and here we are. This being said, do you feel Exxon (and other companies like them) has helped or hindered our cause? Just askin...

Kurds reveal GOI will withdraw current HCL draft law
amhvl replied to Carrello's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
2012 budget ready for a quick vote & done. Now it must be re-hashed. HCL ready for a quick vote & done. Now it is being withdrawn (again). Chapter 7 release news has become scarce. Part of me thinks there is fire at the end of this SMOKE. We have been told for some time that prior to RV, there would be alot of mis-information. If so, our pot of gold may be in sight. -
