  1. Every car or truck window I've ever busted has shattered. Whether it be rock, foot, hand, bat, or someones head they all shattered. The only ones that don't make a mess are the front windshield due to the safety shield. Oh, and the harder you throw the rock the less noise it makes.
  2. Could it be May 16th, that was when they were talking about this pretty hot an heavy. IDK for sure though.
  3. Why if you have a hammer would you need a spark plug? And why not use a rock? They are readily available, and you don't have to break them first. I guess I don't get it.
  4. Now I don't remember the year. Could have been 2010, 11, or the present year, but wasn't Iraq supposed to be the honorary president of OPEC. Which changes from year to year. That to me says they are a part of OPEC.
  5. If memory serves Ali was unable to open a bank, but was able to partner with one.
  6. I was born here too. I've been other places, and know now I will never leave again. Except for vacation. Other places are pretty too, but they don't have enough shades of grey. I lived 26 yrs in the Snoqualmie Valley. Out my front window was Mt Si, and out the back was Rattlesnake Ridge. Loved it there.
  7. Thanks for the kind words. Yep, 12 yrs foundations and 5 yrs a cement mason. (finisher and fixer) Now I install Directv, cause I don't trust the housing markets temporary recovery.
  8. I would shut down numerous programs, and committees as to try to bring down the budget. THEN I WOULD LEGALIZE WEED FEDERALLY. I would go to every tavern I could to listen to what folks have to say. Sometimes I hear the best ideas that seem plausible listening to the oldsters. I would keep Americas nose where it belongs. We have enough domestic problems to keep us busy right here at home. I'll keep this short, but you know where my heart lies I think.
  9. I'm just happy to be back to work. Even though it's not my usual trade. In my mind " Negativity will get you no where." Anybody I've ever worked with could tell you that I complain about nothing. No matter how hot, cold, or wet you will not here me complain. I did residential foundations for over ten years, and always heard people complain about how hard the work was, how hot, cold, or wet it was. I don't get it. Where does that get you? I just tell them it's all in their head. Think better thoughts, and you won't feel what your feeling. Like Tandy says " Stay the course." What I could possibly lose in this investment won't break me, but what I stand to possibly gain could make me. Dreams sometimes do become reality. Even if you haven't experienced it yourself.
  10. Yet another great one. Somethin about the tunes from these guys is just really catchy. Not just this tune, but all of them. Thanks yet again.
  11. And for another view. Kuwait stands to make a lot of money when Iraq gets out of Chap. VII. They did invest 500 Million last year in the ISX I believe. I always go from memory here, so please don't ask for a link. I don't have it. Sooooooo.....just could be one of the reasons of probably many.
  12. This is one map I would just love to see. Complete or incomplete. Thanks for yet another read.
  13. I agree, but like you said there's no proof that ld's were printed. Curious to know if plates were even made for the ld's. I think ld's printed in '03 is a dinarland fact. Which I'm skeptical of. It will all be clear when it's done, maybe.
  14. The constitution was written ( I believe in '06 ) after the currency was printed. I haven't read the whole thing, so I couldn't tell you if the grandfather clause is possible over there or not.
  15. I too hope there is something to this. With Jaylees rumor I really hope this is it.
  16. That only happens to me when I have a brand new hammer. Or when driving stakes, and hitting your hand. I actually have a tattoo there now. Kinda like a target.
  17. For every day pain in the butt pain. For me would have to be peeling cuticles back. For those that might not know what cuticles are. They are the little pieces of skin (that split when dried out) around your finger nails. My fingers bleed daily, and no amount of lotion or bag balm seems to work. I could wear gloves, but that would slow me down. It's just something I live with. As far as my worst pain it was when my leg was hit by a flare. White phosphorous burnt me but good. From two- three inches below my knee to just above my waist. An 18 hr boat ride was very painful once the nerves kicked back in. Then when they scrub the dead skin away, well let's just say I asked for forgiveness when it was over. The kidney stone was pretty memorable as well, and the broken ankle. Plus the bottle of J.D. broken over my head, oh an the rock ( the size of two fists) up side the head. List is too long, but I'm sure you get the idea.
  18. It's always been High mountain lakes, waterfalls, and streams for me. I was raised in North bend, Wa. I think about 1 mile from Rattlesnake Lake. As a kid we would spend our summer days at the lake, or floating the South Fork of the Snoqualmie. There was another spot in town called Blue Hole that had rope swings on the Middle Fork, and another called Unemployment beach. That was where all three forks came together and made the Snoqualmie. Thanks Smee for the trip.
  19. I hope they decide to change their fiscal year to Oct. Then this thing could happen sooner than later.
