Good reply and yes they are closed until the 13th, so I would wait until then as any other emails prior to will probably be deleted. Once you get set up though I have had no problems. I read Adams book and followed his step by step instructions that he has outlined there. There also is a thread in the Warka section on the homepage. It really is rather simple but does take a little time, but well worth it in my opinion. Minimums are spelled out on Warkas site. Don't recall off the top of my head but they aren't t very high. really, I have had an account with Warka for six months and never been to Iraq! My recomendation is to read Adams book, then read it again and follow the instructuions he outlines. It was a simple process (it takes a little while) but well worth it in my opinion. Good luck!

CDN: Sorry I just saw your post. I simply followed the instructions as outlined in Adams book, very easy. He has basically done all the work for us. Just be patient as the folks at Warka work a little slower than we're use to. Also if you go to the Warka section on this site it is outlined there pretty well. There also is a great reference section with a list of important emails of contacts at the bank. Good luck. Rick

Kenbo: Once i recieved all my account information I sent my request for on-line banking and copied Mr. Issa (always do this) then it took about 1 week for me to get my on-line sign in information. All in all other than slower process than we are use to over here I have been pleased so far with them. But the eamils from the list all seem to be correct and worked for me. Good luck

They are requiring me to keep 150usd minimum. Not sure what would happen if not. I know when I did my online transfer usd to iqd I had to leave enough to make the transfer. Hope this helps
