  1. Well said, but will it be well received? We'll find out soon.
  2. The back and forth banter on the speculation of the reserves leads me to believe that no one should trust the reports coming out of the CBI and no one should assume that any rumors spoken of their current status should be denied as simply rumors. Why would there be so much interest and debate on this topic if there weren't some validity to the claims? I say: Open up your books, CBI! Show us the real reports done by an independent auditor who doesn't have any ties to major corporations or international monetary authorities. We want to see the real numbers and the real tally of notes in circulation domestic and foreign and find out what you can really value your currency at. I'm thinking it's worth more like $1.07 - $1.27 per IQD. Maybe more? I wouldn't be hurt if you decided it was worth ~ $3.00 per IQD or thereabouts!
  3. I really thought (should be read here as "hoped") that we would see $3.22 by March (3) 22, 2016 [which is today, by the way]. Alas, we do not see this rate on this date. Maybe we'll see it someday soon. Haha. Soon... So yeah, with that being said. Who wants to go over to Iraq and tell those lazy camel-hoarders to step up their game and get on with revaluing the IQD to its rightful exchange rate against the US dollar so we can all get our early retirements? All in, say "aye"! TQ out.
  4. Those fools… if they even think about attacking US troops in Iraq, will regret they ever started their pathetic militant force. Pathetic… They are kinda right about ISIS being a US corporation/CIA product though.
  5. Sounds to me like this is coming to a head. Hopefully we see a resolution soon to the "oil conflict/crisis."
  6. Dinarvets.com should see an uptick in membership registration once the Iraqis start logging on. They will no doubt come on here to post and watch us and laugh while we wait for the RV...
  7. Sometimes they refer to it as per 100usd? So it would be 127 thousand dinar per 100 USD? Thats roughly 1270 to 1 IQD to USD. That means it rose from 1245 to 1270 per dollar in the last couple days market rate? That's pretty bad.
  8. No they're bonds sold by the CBI that accrue interest over a year or two and bought back by Iraq's Ministry of Finance. It's meant as a short term revenue boost during low oil prices.
  9. Bond sales are good, in a way. They need to stay afloat, this will boost short term revenue for the bank and keep them alive just a little while longer while they clean up corruption and terrorism. Then maybe an RV? Lol…
  10. C'mon, let's see $69.69 per barrel, then Iraq can RV!
  11. The 25Ks are in short supply, huh? Maybe they should revalue. Just sayin'…
  12. There are so many double negatives and contradictions in this article, that I might not stop from not ever not going crazy, always.
  13. Only if after it revalues that it drops back down to $1 per gallon once we all exchange our dinar.
  14. Some expert or whatever already publicly stated they can't borrow from the CBI deserves because it would be detrimental to the dinar exchange rate and health of the economy. Why are they pulling a 180 now?
  15. The actual cash portion has been floating around 5 to 15 million. Which sounds about right for a population of 30 million Iraqis, of which money using adults amount to probably a little over half. More than enough daily cash being sold to be distributed to cover those citizens.
  16. Ministers for Oil, Transportation, and Youth and Sports all reigned? Oil would be a big deal, Adel Abdul Mahdi was a very influential minister.
  17. Buddying up now, eh? I imagine it went something like this, looking at the pictures: Abadi: Sadr, smell my breath! Sadr: Camel chow? A: Only the finest! Found Maliki's hidden stash in the green zone and decided to splurge in al-Al'Camel marketplace. S: Nice.'Well, how about that religious, economic, and political situation going on in my… er- our land. A: Well, you know, just biding time until the RV. Can't give it a go until Okie lands his plane and we remove some more corrupt people. Don't worry, you're not on the list. Neither am I! (both laugh maniacally)
  18. Good lord, what did I just walk into… A fully erect cat tail? Also, how did one of the more revealing and apocalypse fulfilling articles turn so quickly into a giant, raging dikc joke?
  19. Yet another group of people begging Iraq to get its shi'ite together and become the Babylon of great that the world once knew. They have that dormant potential to be the greatest if they could just get past whatever few hurdles may be left. So close…
  20. Making secret money from oil sales outside the agreement and hiding it? The corruption is just absolutely steaming with obviousness.
