  1. Who are these "Economists?" Way to vauge of an article to indicate anything.
  2. Hey Realdinar: You had to know that when you posted your "rumor" that it had a make-believe feel to it in the firs place. I have no idea if you are for real or just a pumper in a Spock disguise, but with the whole "Pastor" thing, and overhearing about De-La-Rue machines in an open lobby, it just doesn't smell right. If you are telling the truth and this thing RV's in the next few days, we'll all eat our words. In the meantime, if it walks like a pumper, talks like a pumper, and acts like a pumper, THEN IT'S A PUMPER! I"m just sayin.
  3. I just don't see how Iraq can support a $5.27 RV. They are still years away from the kind of infrastructure to support anything like that, and they do not have long-term proof of political stability. I believe if they tried to RV that high, the market would recognize that as an inflated number and drive the price down in a heartbeat, IMHO.
  4. Here's an interesting quote from that article: "Experts remain skeptical that a deal can be reached this year, mainly because China and the United States remain at loggerheads on key issues. Pushing the talks into 2012 — a U.S. presidential election year — would make a conclusion even less likely because the sensitive issue of trade would be a hard sell for politicians of any stripe." So what does this mean for RV? Is an RV closely associated with a Chinese/US agreement on the Doha Accords? Are they completely seperate? Part of me says that since global economic policy is so closely intertwined with Chinese/US trade policies, that nothing gets done until this gets done. On the other hand, since domestic politics still have such a huge impact on policy, that Iraq will ignore what happens in the greater economic sphere and do whatever suits them best. Any thoughts on this?
  5. It's sort of like Charlie Brown's teacher: Woha, Woha, Woha.
  6. Sounds like they were trying to wait for the RV so they could pay with RV Dinar, but since this has taken to long.......................The electric company decided to pull the plug. Now they have to pay a big huge past due electric bill with current value Dinar................not what they want to do.
