  1. Actually I love my time here. I know we agree to disagree, but that is what makes it fun. B/A
  2. Isn't 20,000 on the DOW the magic number to launch the RV? B/A
  3. And to think I remember when there were no computers. My grandfather told me when I was a child in his lifetime he went from horse and buggy to man on the moon. Simply put...It's AMAZING! B/A
  4. Nope I don't have a drug problem personally... But as American citizens we all do... Even you. B/A
  5. Great info on government and drug smuggling http://nsarchive.gwu.edu/NSAEBB/NSAEBB2/index.html
  6. I'm not sure if you missed the point here. The point is OUR government is in the business of drug dealing... B/A
  7. Hey I just posted the numbers. Debt increases with big tax cuts. It's basic economics. You of all people should understand "Basic". Your answer to everything is basic. B/A
  8. Call me a conspiracy nut, but our government has it's fingerprints all over the drug problem in America. JMHO B/A
  9. "social" responsibility falls on you bleeding heart socialists... NOT US. And there it is... It's not our problem. What's your solution? It's easy to say they did it it's their responsibility. I agree that is the way it should be, but is not. There is a certain percentage of the population that will never take responsibility for their actions. So again, I ask what is the solution? B/A
  10. Very well thought out and written post. Thank you. You are a very well informed person with excellent convictions. The view through your lens is one we should all aspire to. Sadly there is no utopia and social problems will not take care of themselves, perhaps more importantly, the root of said social problems will not suddenly go away. Can these things be changed? We all hope they can, but we are far away from all facets of society being responsible for themselves. On a lighter note, have you watched the video divemaster posted on the constitution? Apparently we have all been hoodwinked from the very beginning. It is a very eye opening discussion on the two constitutions and the difference between The United States and The United States of America. If true, everything we know is a lie. B/A
  11. Thanx Jax... We agree. The point to answering your question was that we as taxpayers will pick up the tab either way. There is no denying that. This is on a slightly different level, but I think we can all agree criminals must go to jail. But to make that a reality, we must all pay. Is there a choice, I don't see one. JMHO B/A
  12. I'll put it in street terms, I apologize if I offend anyone. So there is a crackwhore who is on welfare and is about to have her 8th kid. We say nope we are not paying for that medical procedure. So she has her baby. No one wants to adopt the baby because they say it's not my problem. But it is our problem. The baby is born with serious health issues. Crack mom is on welfare, so we as tax payers now have the added cost of paying the medical bills for the next 18 years. Thankful, the baby survives the medical issues and lives to become an adult. But growing up in the environment of crack mom, the baby learns how to live off the system or even worse becomes a criminal and goes to jail. Either way taxpayers pick up the tab. Does this happen in every case? No. Do the thousands or perhaps millions of people who oppose taxpayers paying for a medical procedure volunteer to adopt these kids? No. So pay me now... Or pay me later... It's not like these problems are going away. So as conservatives the answer should be basic economics. Remember conservatives want our government to run like a business. That means taking many personal ideals out of the equation. You don't run a successful business with your heart, do you? There are tough choices to be made in business. Now if you want to run our government as though it is a church, that is another concept altogether. I'm not endorsing any of this one way or the other, I'm simply pointing out the fiscal side of things. B/A
  13. This is not a slam just a couple of things that might interest you. First if you have not watched the video posted by Divemaster regarding the constitution I think you will really enjoy it. Here's the link Secondly, you ask why I have a problem with the conservatives that rule the Republican party. Here is a look at their affect on our government debt since WW2. And yes Obama is one of the worst offenders. But in my lifetime as a voter (since Nixon/Ford), they have been anything but conservative My question is, with Trump's HUGE tax cut plans what will it look like in the next update? 14. Pay me now or pay me later... Either way we pay... Unless we kill them all... Of course I'm not serious about that. B/A
  15. Thanks Jax... Our hope is to show this kid there is a better way... One day at a time and I can tell you some are better than others. Whew B/A
  16. I agree we shouldn't have to pay. So are you ready to adopt the next crack baby born? Or should we wait until the baby is born and then kill it? I'm just asking. The reason I ask, is because I'm raising a kid who was born into that world. Who is going to take in the next one? Are you? Likely your response will be like so many others... "It's not my problem" B/A
  17. I always enjoy reading your posts. Thank you. I agree we should all be responsible for our actions. Of course in an open society that is never the case. As I tell my foster child who came from the lowest of low society, where responsibility is never an issue for them. There those who do and those who do not. We are doers. Her learned behavior is to never take responsibility for her actions... We are working on that and actually making some success after a year and a half of battling. In her family no one, and I mean not one of her family members has ever graduated high school. Two of her five brothers, one of her three sisters and her grandfather cannot read or write. They are a scourge on society. Do we give them food and housing or do we let them just go out and take what they think they need? Do we just gun down the poor and uneducated and eradicate them? What is the answer? As for my family, we hope to break the cycle. We have her in school. She has a job. She hasn't gotten pregnant. She is responsible for herself. Will it work? There is no guarantee, but as Christians or more importantly as humans, we couldn't turn our backs and watch the carnage. The unfortunate truth is those who do will always be expected to lift those who do not. If people did not bail out the sinking boats, our society would be even more violent than it is today. I don't like it. I feel like my pockets are being picked but the sad fact is some people would rather rob, steal or even kill so as to avoid going to work. Should it change? Of course. Will it change? I don't think so. There is a culture of entitlement that will always exist. Sometimes I wonder if they aren't the smart ones. I mean all they do all day is sit around getting high, playing video games and eating free food in their free housing. Who's the dummies? I'm only kidding of course, most Americans could never live that lifestyle. But my point is they are out there. JMHO B/A
  18. Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump The dishonest media does not report that any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later! Or as Wimpy would say;
