  1. Terry K, I did not know you drink beer!
  2. Imagine that. A banker asking "Joe Public" where should he purchase dinar from. C'MON MAN!!
  3. At least this rumor didn't come from Terry K!
  4. Damn, I knew I should have bought more!
  5. I purposely only own 542,000 dinar. One reason I only own that much is because in the back of my mind this is too good to be true. Another reason that I only own that much is that I don't want my two boys growing up thinking that Daddy is always going to take care of them. They need to learn responsibilty just like I did. So the answer is no I won't quit my job. However, if and thats a big if this thing rv's at a decent rate I probably will give up my fulltime status and work partime. The company that I work for is very flexible and would allow me to do it. I sure do hope we get a decent rate, because I don't want to go to bed every night thinking I should have bought more. Money is not an issue, I just have a problem with spending money on something thats sounds too good to be true. I hope I'm wrong.
  6. If Terry K sold Mary K, I wonder what kind of sales pitch he and his staff would come up with? I just know he would be in the running for a cadillac. Any ideas?
  7. I wonder if TerryK was typing too fast when he posted his user name. I think he meant to put TerryL. L for lies.
  8. I purchased mine five years ago with a credit card. Put my dinars away and forgot about them. About a month ago I started hearing alot of chatter about this investment and started getting interested. Until then, I never new of this website or any other website involving the Dinar. I never new dealers like Dinartrade and Dinarbanker existed either. It was almost like a dagger in my chest when I saw that Dinarbanker did not accept credit card because it was in violation of the "Patriot Act". That made me start researching some more. I found that the dealer I purchased from (with credit card) was indeed listed with the "BBB" with an A rating and is also registered as an "MSB" with the Treasury Dept.
  9. If you google "Purchasing Iraqi Dinar" it gives you some links on making sure you purchase from a reputable dealer that is not out to scam you. It states one of the safest ways in making sure your dinar is legit is to purchase from a dealer that takes credit card. The credit card companies could stop payment on your purchase if it turns out to be counterfeit. However, if you go to Dinarbanker.com, it clearly states that they do not accept credit card, because it goes against "The Patriot Act". Could someone please clarify?
  10. A few days ago I went to the bank to deposit some money. While there I saw the bank manager and decided to talk to him. I kind of eased my way in to talking about Iraqi Dinar. He really did not want to talk about it that much but I did get to ask him about exchanging it if it comes to fruition. He said banks will not exchange it, but the U.S. government will have "Clearing Houses" to handle the exchange. Now like I said I did not talk about it that much, so I really never asked him to explain the term "Clearing House". Can someone explain it to me? Oh by the way, he said it was like playing the lottery as I walked out. But he did mention that he personally new someone that invested $70,000 USD worth. Thats roughly in the neighborhood of $70,000,000 IQD depending on where you purchased from. I thought that was pretty interesting to know.
  11. My wife is always telling me that this will never come to fruition because too many people have it. I guess she thinks it will cause some sort of financial imbalance in the country. My response to her is: I bet if you walk to every house in our neighborhood and ask them about Iraqi Dinar, they would look at you like you were crazy. They would not have a clue. Better yet, go to the local grocery and ask everyone you see if they own or ever heard of dinar? 99% would probably think it's something you purchase from the frozen food section. How many average Americans do you ladies and gentlemen think own this investment?
  12. I wouldn't worry about it. Not all notes are going to be exactly the same. For instance, the blacklight box on my notes are not all positioned the same. Some are a 1/16 off. I did a little research and found this to be normal. You should be good!
