  1. I was going to address that previous post, but P.O. 13303 if allowed to expire does not prevent you from owning what you already have, IMO. It is worded to allow "investment" in during that period and does not address investors having to turn in or lose their investment, but rather a prohibition of purchasing more without the order in effect. GOD bless and RI/RV baby!
  2. It would only become actionable if the source was positively traced back to a specific person or management team. Otherwise, for all we know it could be an attempt by a competitor to sabotage their business. It sure would be nice if it was true. In a perfect world, the bank manager or management may have just been passing on what they thought was good "intel" to folks they wanted to have a shot at getting a piece of the pie. God bless all of those with good intentions who turn thoughts into actions, and pay it forward! Go RI (I want that alleged tax break, so RI baby)!!!
  3. I'm just a simple guy with humble opinions. What you're saying was already what I was thinking too. It also potentially puts Iraq in the new number 1 or 2 seat for available oil production. It means, at least to me, that Iraq has a more sustainable longer term economic strength than many other ME countries. They adjusted their budget to reflect $76/barrel, up from $73 and they should have been more aggressive and estimated it at $85-90+. That would put them in that $5.00 USD/IQD range with tremendous sustainability, IMHO. Let's hope we're not too simple that we figured out something that the politicos who had their attention focused on smuggling dinar out of the country couldn't do. RI already!
  4. I agree. There are investors and those that "have invested" time, effort, sweat, emotion and hope. Those of us that are true Dinar Vets (I look at anyone in over a couple years as a true DV. I'm a 2004'er). Hang in there and remember to breathe. When you been to this rodeo several times you get a bit numbed. We all want it to happen, and when it does, that jaded and toughened outer skin we developed will come right off, (like my wife defoliating), for us to be ecstatic noobs again. We'll just need to remember where those word docs and legal pads with our plans are. God bless everyone trying to help and who invested with the premise of helping their families, friends and others not just base greed. Go RI babyyyy (I want any tax break we can grab)!
  5. Keep the faith, and God bless you for not letting yourself get hardened. Getting cautious from getting burned is always okay. Kind of like the old adage about better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Since, I've become a DV myself, I've met a lot more good souls trying to do the right thing here, than bad. I've said on a few posts that is a blessing no matter what faith you follow when it hits. Thank the good Lord you were in on it and remember to pay it forward however you see fit. If you're invested in the millions invest in a good tax attorney and a financial advisor (I've got a trusted advisor whom if it hits big will only handle a handful of dinar vets because I got his dad into it ). Just don't get bitter folks, we're better than that. This is a community and though it's a virtual one it's a better feeling at the end of the day helping someone than knocking them down.
  6. Great post spike. This is a refreshing post, that reminds us all to stay positive and it's not a matter of if, but rather when. I've been invested since 2004 too, but it was a longshot high risk investment then. Instead of getting all pissed off that other people are Johnny come lately players, I just want to see it happen for those of us who took that leap of faith. If you make a few million, splurge and get yourself a "Investing Since 2004" plaque with a dinar in lucite, or if you're too cheap just buy the Dinar Vet shirt coming soon to a Dinar Broker near you. Just take a breath and be glad you woke up today Go RI January 2011!!! p.s. Spell check is your friend.
  7. This could for some be a very good thing. Banks often offer a fixed rate. You have the option to lock in a CBI rate or "let it ride" while you're waiting to get one of DT's locations. The rate would also be affected on whether it comes out as a floated or fixed rate. I'm guessing float, but I've read alot lately that the CBI has more options with a float. I'm just hoping it comes out as an RI for tax purposes.
  8. Wow, awesome news. I didn't realize that. I'd open an account if it happens tonight. Remember if you're cashing in big money you can negotiate on the spread. Ask for a personal banker or the branch manager and tell them you'll be cashing out big money that will stay there for a while (this way they know the bank gets to use it for a while). I heard that suggestion on a CC recently. Good luck! Torien is Dinar Banker open now for customer service questions by any chance? I've heard that Dinar Banker and Dinar Trade are the best places to cash in because most banks still hammer you with all kinds of service charges. It may be easier to hit your local bank, but you'll pay through the nose. I'm just sayin.
  9. A list of locations immediately available is in the DinarTrade.com email, as well as cash out locations to open within a business week of RI/RV. Ty at DinarBanker.com also has a list of immediately available locations for customers (priority to people who purchased from him), along with several major Airport located cash out locations open with 24-48hrs of RV. Hope this helps. I've been invested since 2004 with a rekindling of interest this year. Let us see if we all receive a blessing that we need to spend some time reflecting on. Remeber to think how we can help others while helping our families and community (charity starts at home).
  10. Go to "dinartrade.com" on lower right enter your email for Cash-in procedures. Ali sends an email listing the procedures and it is quoted that cash in by appointment only will be done. It then states that the rate will be determined by the CBI. Below is an excerpt of the email you will receive: "Rate of Exchange: We will offer customers who have purchased from Dinar Trade the option to lock in a rate for the time of their appointment. Our rate will be based on the Central Bank of Iraq's buy rate. We will post the lock in agreement on our website and we will also fax or email a lock in agreement to the customer that must be signed, notarized and faxed back to our office within 24 hours. If the fax is not received within the 24 hours your lock in rate will be forfeited. Once locked in the appointment and rate cannot be changed or canceled. There will be legal recourse for individuals who lock in a rate and do not arrive for their appointment. The lock in rate is guaranteed until the day of the appointment. A lock in rate means that the price is agreed upon whether the rate goes up or down." Go RVvvvv!
  11. When the IQD RV's has anyone proposed an actual shirt in a desert camo pattern that has printed on it, "Dinar Veteran- O.E.D.-Operation Enduring Dinar"? Just a thought Btw, I pray someone in the House or Senate has the smarts to demand all Fed held Dinar be applied to paying down our debt by ohhhh about 10 Trillion, if reports are accurate about what is held in the Foreign Currency Reserve. Go RI/RV
  12. I like what my dad said when we used to travel through the South West U.S. hiking through cactii fields. I apply it to Obama's entire administration, "It's full of little pricks." (Although grandpa's was a good one too.)
  13. I don't have it offhand, but President Bush's Exec order #39 I believe covered veterans and U.S. Citizens investing and owning the Iraqi Dinar. There are some caveats, but U.S. forces were allowed something like 100k a day.
  14. I think that someone else asked a similar question with the response, you'll still pay taxes on the cash out because the currency conversion is a 'taxable event'. You may be able to write some of the expenses off, but you'll red flag with the IRS with big ticket items if you purchase more than a couple and don't have a history of it. Look into trusts or if you have an existing company, you could start an LLC and umbrella your company under it for some limited protections. Good luck to us all!
  15. It may be old news, but you'll notice none of the major news channels cover it. Glenn Beck I believe has been preaching the word, but everyone else points fingers.
  16. I've been invested since 2004, but don't drop, at best, exaggerated lines of traveling overseas fifty times a year. Yes, actually maybe I do work 51 1/2 weeks out of the year, and then I deliver presents following the international dateline for a day and a half . I've been mostly nice, excepting the times when naughty was requested, so I reserved my Christmas present for an RV instead. Btw I vote Teresa82 for best profile pic. I have to smile everytime I see that expression RV, good for you, good for me!!!
  17. We're praying with you. Been invested since 2004 and this finally sounds like the real McCoy. Been hearing/reading alot of pumping, but some are well meaning just getting carried away. As a Dinar battle buddy says, "Everyone, just breathe." We're in the home stretch and by all appearances it's not a matter of if, but when. Hang in there, and start getting some phone numbers and referrals for investment companies, trust and tax attorneys, as well as a reputable tax firm (commercial may be better if you're a multi million cash in DV). Best to everyone! God bless, and pay it forward when and where you can. P.s. This is a good community, without bashing, the request/advice was to attempt to have supporting verifiable info if it's not an article we can link to. Be well.
  18. I like this site because it's one of the few that you can rate the posts. It lets me know as an investor, what fellow DV's are thinking and more specifically thinking of some of this 'intel'. Stay safe guys and gals.
  19. Diesel and fuel will last that long but you need fuel stabilizers (they're pretty cheap). Also if you're using tanks fill them up to where there is a minimum of air in them initially to slow down any breakdown. I'm also looking at large in ground propane tanks, mabye a couple 2500 gallon tanks, as propane is popular in the south as is natural gas, but if it stops flowing you're in trouble. I heard there are some generators that will run on propane/natural gas so a very good option would be to run on nat gas and if it becomes unavail you have a large propane backup. It's expensive ( more than 25k) , but you could look into an inground diesel tank. My police department had one installed that was a 500 gallon for about 35k I believe. We would need at least three to five times that for an extended run. Solar may be an option in the South and Southwest if you're on some acreage (possible with a nice dinar score). Stay safe and pray for the best, while preparing for the worst!
  20. I'm not a big market guy, but do you guys think silver is a better investment because it hasn't received quite the attention gold has, and it's still reasonable price wise? I don't want to sound all Mad Max but my wife thought I was nuts when I said I would build an all concrete reinforced house to withstand any "hurricane" that man or nature could throw at us. The have nots will be hunting if things really go south. I remember reading a long time ago that if the economy crumbled silver coins or the smaller ounce and up bullion bars would be the currency of choice. Now, where do I get those pedal powered generators again for when we can't find gasoline? Thanks liberals and rhinos for making a Mad Max scenario not just science fiction anymore.
  21. Lol. Your expression is priceless! Even better than the "1 Post". Although, I talked to Ali Baba and the Sultan of Swing and they said RV this week.
  22. Sweet one. It sounds like a Christmas story I could quote to my kids years from now (or months from now if we're blessed). I had to say, I loved the "Stay thirsty my friends!" God Bless everyone with the patience, wisdom, charity and faith of this endeavor. GO RV!
