But at 1.1 to the USD that would only make me a multi millionaire not a multi multi millionaire.......WAAAAHHHHH!!!!! The GCC unified currency is, at best 3-5 years out and should in no way impact our investment.

When dealing with the ego's involved with this unified gulf currency, this thing could drag on for years and years. I don't see this, in any way affecting our investments.

IMO....the latest stimulus money that was injected into the economy (50 billion dollars) is being held on the side since it has never been allocated to anything. This money is what the US will use to pay out the dinar investors. The US will then hold onto the dinars and use it as a slush fund to buy oil from Iraq.

The announcement will come today at 4pm EST. Iraq is waiting until the last possible minute to make the announcment because it has to wait until the worlds banks are closing for the holiday weekend. This way the iraqi banks have Saturday and Sunday to tend to internal transactions and await the mad rush on Monday AM when the world banks reopen after the holiday.

All I can say is that when this is all over and done with we should all get together for a nice vacation and reminisce about how much fun this experience has been. Caribbean anyone?
