  1. I guess when we see confirmation about a seated Defense Minister we'll know that Ivy isn't poison.
  2. If the power problem is going to be solved within a 12-15 month timeframe, he needs some immediate cash flow. An RV seems to be in order.
  3. Well no one will accuse you of not keeping you expectations in check. Welcome to the forum.
  4. It would be wonderful if Iraq could become a wonderful example of ME democracy... and kick ass currency.
  5. I'd really like to know where the "grain of truth" resides in that rumor!
  6. I need RV to fund continuing development of a technology that will make oil obsolete as a fuel source. And if you think dinars have been a rollercoster ride...!
  7. In another matter provided the investigative problem on the closure of offices Baghdadiya satellite channel its report to the Council, which ensure that the media and contact the organization record settlement with the channel Baghdadiya space for re-opening of its offices in Baghdad and the provinces. It was decided to adjourn the meeting to next Monday 28/02/2011. Could the adjournment be referencing the issues about the Baghdadiya satellite channel ?
  8. Is there a list of DTRADE cash in locations? I'm hoping there will be one in NYC.
  9. Clashes in Libya Worsen as Army Crushes Dissent As in Bahrain and Iran, the police and army in Libya have moved quickly to crush the escalating unrest. Suez Canal Workers Join Broad Strikes in Egypt http://www.nytimes.com/pages/world/index.html
  10. This seems to be a trend. I'm wondering if banks that must order dinar to be delivered to a branch are afraid of getting caught in the three to five day "RV gap" between when the customer plunks down his money and when the dinars are delivered.. If one were inclined to optimism one could find this encouraging.
  11. Wasn't this discussed (and for our specific RV purposes dismissed) a few days ago?
  12. One sunny morning Uncle Okie awoke to find rainbows crisscrossing all over the sky! Oh my! said Uncle Okie, "lets tell every one about this!" Do I get the job?
  13. Gandalf? I'm sorry. You deserve a better answer- but I don't have one.
  14. More believable: Chase told them to buy Dinar, but only from Chase (at a high spread) and the employee must cash in with Chase (at an even higher spread) and deposit in a five year .1% CD.
  15. I'm not a financier but I don't see hard coupling between restructuring the banking system and revaluing the currency. If the curency has an increased value from factors outside the banking system (like oceans of oil) the currancy should reflect that.
  16. What caught my eye was that the cause of inflation was rental rates and the high prices of food entering the country. Could foriegn suppliers be nudging prices up in anticipation of RV?
  17. Yeah, but she always says Monday. And she cheats at checkers too.
  18. IF S. were to wave his magic wand and RV everyone's dinars, would that actually solve the problem? For imported items I guess it would, but do the masses use imported items? Is much staple food imported? A Volvo might be nice to sit in but if they can't afford domestic oil or gas what good would it do them?
  19. Tuning our Border Collie's doggy rays for peaceful ends, my wife forsees Feb. 21, I see Feb. 17. The dog just says "next Monday".
  20. $50,000 dinar currently = $42.50 USD. Unless massive inflation results from the RV I'd guess that the equivalent of $42.50 would be applied to what ever the dinar/month amount per capita that the government provides.
