When you look at Maliki's past, you'll find that he came from a Yemeni family that were nothing but trash. He's been a con artist his entire life & a financially disadvantaged (poor) one, at that. Only after becoming PM did he suddenly become wealthy. All the money Maliki has, was stolen from the people of Iraq. I provided this history on Maliki to make a point. Maliki got rich off of stolen funds.....which we all know, strengthening his power base through the warped clergy in Iran. Iran's strongman, Ali Khameini's power has to still be really strong. He continues to protect his boy Maliki......otherwise how in hell could Maliki still have the ability to walk about Iraq unfettered and meet with Faud Masum, Iraq's president ? After all the terror, theft, contract murders, extortion, etc.that Maliki has rained down upon Iraq, it's apparent that people are still scared of him.....of what his power and money can buy. When will the International Criminal Court order Interpol officers to arrest this brutal thug?

Great. I hope they cut his terriakis out first and dip him in a barrel full of rubbing alcohol.

Corruption is rampant and as predicted, as soon as one gets squeezed..... the dominos start falling. Every single department in Iraq has corruption. Payoffs and extortion is the way these people have been doing business for millenia. Transparency International has said that Iraq has risen one place in its global Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI). From at total of 175 countries, Iraq came in at number 170, slightly better than last year’s position of 171. This result puts it ahead of countries such as Afghanistan, South Sudan, and Somalia. All nations have their corrupt. Since the UN, World Bank and International Monetary Fund are now trying to steer Iraq's monetary reform & are going through and auditing Iraq's books, the bright light has pierced their veil of darkness that for centuries has prevented the populace from knowing just how much money is being rifled. If Iraq is going to be serious about gaining international investors, they have to get corruption down to a negligible level. It will NEVER be eradicated but it can be managed and those responsible punished. That is Abaidi's goal & until all these crooks start doing hard time, they are going to continue grabbing and snatching with both hands.

Sadr refuses to annex Kirkuk to Kurdistan
TennesseeCherokee replied to yota691's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
These are the arguingest bunch of people in the world. Sadr better stick to what he does best, cuz the Kurds are not gonna be no damned pushover for his bullying tactics.....the Peshmerga will stomp a mud puddle in the middle of his arse. -
I think it would be much easier fot these folks to start out with those little POS scanners that plug into a smart phone.....electricity....it looks like an electrician's nightmare over there.....friggin wires running here and there. They're not gonna be hiring any U.S. union electricians until they get rid of all those spiderwebs of wires.

Just a hunch, but my guess is that this monetary reform will occur on January 1st. It's much easier to balance books when you start in a new calendar year. This would also allow Parliament 4 months to get all the legislation passed, Abaidi fills all the vacancies, a new CBI governor is installed, coalition forces to mop up the rest of ISIL and seal all the porous border crossings. I hope that I am wrong & all this occurs by October. Having said that, Iraq has never gotten in a hurry in the 7 years I have been involved in this. We all would love to see Iraq have a currency other than it's current 'exotic' status.

Sadr prevents pretend for a month
TennesseeCherokee replied to yota691's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
If the MP's in Parliament squander this month.....a month without protests.....& at the end of this cooling off period, still have not met the citizens demands, all HELL is going to break loose. MP's........get your shiite together. Pass all the laws that are pending and especially the HCL law. -
I'm quite certain that just a small portion of the natural gss that Iraq flares into the atmosphere, would spin all the turbines needed to generate all of Iraq's electrical needs. Maliki is there is his mansion, with ICE COLD AC , while the vast majority of citizens cannot even afford an air conditioner.....let alone the electricity needed to power it. Imagine daytime temps over 120 degrees and only a small fan, if they can even afford that, to try and keep from dying of heat stroke.... My prayers continue for the cirizens of Iraq. They deserve basic services, a decent paying job, healthcare and a chance to educate their chidren. The HCL will provide the funds to lift them all out of the desperation of poverty and allow them something that they have not had in a very long while......HOPE.

How is it that Maliki has the ability to meet with the President of Iraq? Why would anyone in their right mind, disclose anything to this evil traitor of the nation of Iraq? I just do not understand how allowing Maliki to be involved in anything can be good. We all know that as soon as he leaves these meetings,he is on his cell phone calling Ali Khameini and spilling his guts.

It was our 'mylilpony'......another great newshound that resides @ DinarVets...... Thank You All !!

Bingo! Maliki is gonna go to the gallows just like Saddam....screaming and pointing his finger at everyone in the gallery. He is a sociopath. They have no remorse, they have no love. It is always about their poor pitiful selves.

This sale of currency, as the first, a few years ago, was a pleasure. The gentleman who purchased it helped renew my faith in humanity. This man shall remain nameless on this post but I want say that he is a portrait of whom we all should aspire to be......honest, caring and truthful. Thank you again, my new friend for everything.

When is Iraq ever going to stop dealing with the most dangerous nation in the middle east? I hear ya, DoD, why would Iraq buy natural gas from the terrorists next door when they have more of it than any nation around? These folks beat any damned thing I have ever seen. Iran has continually tried to collapse Iraq's economy by theft of oil, counterfeiting Iraq's currency, subverting the government with Maliki and sending Qod forces, etc.....
