I don't see IRS regs or USA taxation being an issue. There has always been something called "retroactive" that can be readily used when it comes to new tax laws, so it doesn't matter when the legislation is actually passed!

Bottom line is that NO ONE on these boards will know ahead of time when this will hit ... And IF they did know, they would not be telling us, because they walk in circles unbeknownst to us. I'm sure at least some folks labeled as gurus really think their sources have some credibility. Some post their "intel" more often than others, but irregardless of sincerity, all are wrong!!! Who among the gurus have been right? Not Sonny1', not the GET team, Not Frank, not MED, not even Adam. Sonny1 had another 100% prediction a looooong time ago. Those of you who have been on here for a while will remember when Adam's CBI contact thought we were within days of an RV. Adam ramped up his website to handle what he thought would be a flood of new hits because of all that "info" . No doubt they were sincere, but that was at least 18 months ago!! So, that said, I have found the best tack for me is to cut them all some slack, glean what I can from what is said by whomever, and leave it at that.

This gives new meaning to "keep your friends close and your enemies closer", eh? What a wonderful place, what a wonderful, peaceful religion! NOT!!! What a bunch of barbarians ALL!!!

Well, I am not one to bash, but I have to say that dear ole blue wolf has lost ALL credibility with me for the following reasons: 1. She/he thinks CNN is credible enough to watch. 2. She/he thinks the state of the union is on now. 3. She/he thinks tax discussions in the USA are holding this up ... What we hold as individual investors in terms of taxes to be due is a drop in the 14 + trillion dollar deficit bucket 4. She/ he thinks that Obama should be supported because he has our interests in mind ... Oh puleeeeze! 5. Need I say more???

This is a question, not a bash, for Okie and other "gurus" out there in dinarland ... You say you are only the messenger. Let's say I can buy that, but it is apparent that SO much of the supposed intel being passed around cannot possibly be true since it never comes to fruition. MY QUESTION(S): Do you ever call a a spade a spade and tell your source(s) "enough is enough"? Do you ever hold THEM to accountability? When they offer up some piece of "intel", do you ask them the logical, pointed questions that immediately come to our minds and should come to your mind ... which in many cases makes the "intel" laughable? Your reputation takes the beating, and the folly that should belong to your sources becomes yours. Just asking!

I can tell that WHEN and IF this ever does RV, many on here will not have a pot to pee in after a year or so, because they will have run off half cocked, telling everyone they have money and how they got it! Wisdom would dictate a LOW profile. Folks have worried the bankers to death, they ask perfect strangers in airports about the dinar, and now they want to contact their congressman! Sheesh!

I read on one of these forums that Ali had family members who had attempted kidnappings happen to them. Also saw the comments about unscrupulous folks being out there who would love to get their hands on LOTS of dinar. Remember that he is pretty exposed, and it is common knowledge about his alledged worth. Wouldn't surprise me that his family is in danger. I will cut him some slack, because he has been very accommodating to all of us on these dinar sites ... interviews, phone calls, very accessible!

and once Iraq gets their footing under themselves, no doubt investing there will be like investing in China, Mexicao or Indonesia ... it will happen as a matter of course!

Exactly ... Ali may be making money, but Iraq is only selling something worth virtually nothing for ... well, selling it for what it is worth .... virtually nothing.

What is really gonna be a bummer is if this thing finally RVs ... at .... .03!!!! LOLOLOL. I mean, would ya just feel like you have wasted at least a couple years???

I would rather read this than the article about the parliament meeting being postponed to Wednesday for lack of a quorum!!! Some peon in the street going on heresay has as much info and intel as a member of parliament who is too inept to do his job. The rumor at least gives hope, where the parliament gives nothing but a slap in the face!!!

Most probably, in many cases the "Wall Street folks" know the currency traders and vice versa, even though they do not trade both stocks and currency. And I would bet they talk to each other regularly about investments. Ya think?

No doubt there are a lot of Florida dinar investors. Afterall, Ali will have a cash-in site in the middle of the state!

This does not seem to be anything really positive for them or for us ... it's crumbs for them and only keeps them subdued for a while longer while the powers that be fiddle and haggle over more for THEM ... and for us ... just more delays until another vacation or holy day can officially be given as the reason for pushing the RV into another month. There will never be an end to corruption and power seeking, and I mean folks do this with impunity!!! No shame whatsoever!!!

Be careful what you wish for ... I was in Tunisia a couple years ago, and it was a wonderful country. Lots of history and antiquity, but also LOTS of building going on. They were very tolerant of various religious views, and in fact did not allow ANY expression of extremist Islamist views. Business was flourishing, tourism was growing, and as a woman I spoke freely with both men and women who appeared to genuiinely welcome the contact from outsiders.

Some time ago I asked my banker as well if he had had any inquiries about the dinar ... he said he knew of a few people who had invested. But by his response, he knew nothing of the investment, the rumors, the happenings in Iraq, etc. In fact he did not know enough to even be personally interested in putting in $250 USD as one of his customers suggested.

I saw another comment saying that Obama MUST know something we do not know about the GOI, or otherwise he would never have been stupid enough to actually say the GOI was formed. YES, he would be that stupid. He regularly says all kinds of things that are not true and there is no one in the MSM that checks him on any facts (which are few) or falsehoods (which are many)!!! This is my HUMBLE opinion ... LOL

Many on here have become so downright hateful with their comments. I would guess there is no one in this investment who has not had serious doubts and down days about this whole thing, so frustration is common to all of us. BUT, that said, I have to tell you that I ALWAYS read another site first before coming here (the info is extremely succinct and good there) ... and there is none of this awful bashing ... okay, now you can let me have it. Won't bother me, and just so you know, I will not come back to this post to see how many negatives I have received. Sorry to take the fun out of it for you! Oh, and BTW, one of these days there will be a rumor that is right, and some will miss it because they will be here or somewhere bashing rather than going to the bank!!!

No one made these folks go out and buy more dinar ... and on reserve at that!!! Puleeeze!! There have been almost as many warnings about buying more than you can afford as there have been rumors!

While I do not believe any of this .... IF the Mossad was behind this and IF a prosperous Iraq and an Iraq/USA alliance was bad for Israel ... then it was a terrible gamble for Israel to take, because Iraq WILL be prosperous and they WILL be an ally of the USA !!! Of course though, in Biblical prophecy ALL nations will turn against Israel as the time of the apocalypse approaches.

and the CBI contact has been wrong in the past, as well .......... so, better watch the forex for yourself!!!
