In anyone's book this can't be good news that the banks assets dropped 85%. Their credit sucks, they run budget deficits and need to borrow to make ends meet, price of oil is dropping, OPEC wants to limit their planned oil production, they blatantly miss important World Bank time lines, etc, etc, etc. The list is endless. I sure don't see how Iraq can afford any rv much less an rv of 86cents. If their two largest banks asset valuation had increased 10 times instead of dropping 85% I'd feel they might be better able to afford an rv but these figures from the World Bank disclosure sure don't make me feel confident.

Everyone needs to stop buying dinar which provides USD for Iraq to operate the country. The sooner their USD supply dries up the sooner they might rv. Yes, I know they get USD from their oil sales and that won't stop but their auctions and currency sales bring in hundreds of millions of dollars monthly.

Do you really think anyone in a bank will have any prior knowledge about the dinar rving? Thousands of people bugging the banks is why some have stopped selling dinar. Please stop wasting our time.

You have it backwards. The CBI auctions are selling dinar for usd. It is diluting iraq's money supply, not shrinking it.

Iraq's Parliament is a microcosm of the ME. Constant never ending fighting. They can't even develop a peaceful coexistence within their own countries govt and agree to work together towards positive progress for their own good. It's just absurd.
