  1. Thank you for the +1!! You spoke truthfully with your post!! BTW, I may have to give you a +1 as well. I'm sure you will be getting bashed here shortly!! LOL
  2. I am very impressed that Okie did his homework on Iraq!! BTW, Christianity was in Iraq before Islam! Everything Okie has posted is 100% factual!!
  3. Wow, I have lived in the U.S. for over 40 years now, and I can say fibbing is not just an "Iraqi thing". I am very culturally diversified and I doubt that the Iraqi's fib anymore than any other groups of people. As for myself and my family, we try to live a lifestyle of honesty, integrity, and high morals according to God's standards, and that includes being truthful. With that being said, I know for a fact that not only are the Iraqi workers reporting truthfully about the Dinar changing soon, the Iraqi people, including my friends and family are all expecting this to take place soon. This information is constantly being put on Iraqi TV. So, maybe they are telling the truth and not "Fibbing", as you would put it. So many people on this site have never gotten the chance to have personal relationships with the Iraqi's who live in the U.S. Please don't judge all of the Iraqi's in this manner. You have to understand that for over 30 years they lived under an evil dictator, and in order to survive they were forced to "Fib". I would never be able to explain all of the details in one post.
  4. You are absolutely right for MI. My family lives in MI and my sister tried to buy some IQD last week and she got the same answer. Where I live they will sell you IQD but you have to have an existing account with them. They said they have different affiliations in different states.
  5. Actually, after the invasion, mostly everyone has a satellite dish now, thanks to the U.S.! And mostly everyone now owns a cell phone, Praise God and again, many thanks to the U.S. That being said, even their cell phones operate differently than ours. They don't have contracts, just Sim cards or as they like to reference them as "receipts" that allows them to purchase minutes. And, what good is the T.V. when electricity is only available for a few hours a day. In the summer months, it is unbearable! Saddam and his regime never allowed the citizens to own computers, cell phones or have any other T.V. channels beside three or four that were heavily monitored by him. You are absolutely right my friend, how can we complain?
  6. Yusofsabri, Only a Middle-Eastern man named Yusof Sabri would respond that way!! LOL. I for one believe that a man is the head of the home, but the neck makes that head turn!!! Guess who that neck might be? As we Iraqi's would say "Ahlan ou Sahlan"!!! Welcome! I hope and pray that this investment would change your financial circumstances for the better!
  7. Okay, everyone, here is the truth about the "Average Iraqi", whatever that means anymore. I have said many times before, and I will say it again, there is no such thing as an "Average Iraqi". I am an Iraqi/American, born in Baghdad, Iraq and an American Citizen. I still have many, many ties to Iraq and I know for a fact that only the very, very, wealthy will hugely benefit from the RV. This would be your politicians, and very wealthy business people who have managed to take IQD out of the country. Ordinary Iraqi's do not have huge savings in banks where they will switch their IQD for USD. They live from month to month and usually that is just enough for rent and food. This was not always the case, but after the U.S. invasion, this is the reality of life in Iraq. The Iraqi's are just trying to survive. Unemployment is at an all time high and has been for a very long time. Security and safety is a whole different subject that would take me forever to get everyone to understand. You are literally risking your life daily just by living in Iraq, and I am not exaggerating. So what they truly and so desperately need right now is safety to be able to conduct their day to day activities, stable jobs, electricity 24x7, running clean water, housing, reliable health care, and a globally recognized currency. Please pray for the Iraqi people and the nation of Iraq. They have suffered for so long.
  8. BanG, I think that is one of the reasons I could never join the Military. I have heard this same reasoning about the Iraq war but obviously it has been a greater loss than 40,000. I am so glad I am not the judge, least I be judged. That being said, I bless you and honor all of our military who sacrificed so much for the sake of saving others.
  9. I am so sorry about your husband. I hope and pray that the Holy Spirit would comfort you. I pray that people will rally around you during this difficult time. Bless you, my sister.
  10. Mr. Rich, You are correct in saying Christians were allowed the freedom to attend church and worship as we pleased under Saddams regime. That was the one good thing which we still do not understand about him. Interestingly enough, he trusted the Christians with his life. Kamal Hanna was also a Chaldean Christian and was Saddam's body guard and food tester! Saddam' s son, Uday had him murdered. However, we were and still are very much persecuted in Iraq and other parts of the Middle-East. That being said, I want everyone on this site to know that Muslims are not the enemy. Radical Islam is. Most Muslims are precious, God fearing people who want what the rest of us all want-peace, stability, and the ability to provide for their families. They are not very much different than the rest of us. Please do not think the country of Iraq consists of nothing more than horrible, murderers and terrorists that hate the West and Christians. We used to all live together, work together and attend school together peacefully until the U.S. invasion. There truly is a very small radical minority who are radical terrorists. We really believe these radical terrorists came from Iran and Syria because we never had such extreme groups. I can say one thing about my family and friends and the rest of the Iraqi Christian Community. It is going to take a lot more than 3 million IQD to get the Christians to come back. No money in Iraq can convince us that it is safe for the Christians to return to our rightful land. Recently, St. George's Church was bombed and so was Mar Najat in Karada. But, as I have said before, don't allow fear and hatred to fill your hearts against the Muslim people. I personally have many, many, Muslim friends and I love them dearly. Do not allow a small minority of terrorists who have taken parts of the Quran and turned it into a book of hatred to stop you from befriending them. Love always wins!
  11. GDMC, I do not have an account in Iraq or Warka Bank. I am an Iraqi born, naturalized US Citizen and everything that my family has experienced and continues to experience with Iraq leaves me with a bad taste for banking with Iraq, not to mention Iraq, period! Do not misunderstand what I am saying, please. I love my people and I love who I am but I hate the corruption and the division that continues to take place in and around Iraq. That being said, that does not mean Warka Bank is a bad bank, I just do not trust our money left in Iraq. If you know anything about Iraq, they lack the professionalism that we are accustomed to. I am an A plus personality type who likes to answer e-mails, telephones calls, etc. promptly and I know that you will not get that kind of service from the employees of Warka, at least not yet. Why don't you just purchase physical Dinars through 5/3rd bank or one of the other Dinar Dealers? You can open up an account in Iraq and it is perfectly legal. I know several members on this site who have profited 11% and higher but I haven't verified that. Send Adam a private message and he can help you. In Saddam's era, no-one was allowed to take any of their money out of Iraq, and who knows what could happen in the present and the near future. Yes, I do believe the Dinar will RV, it cannot stay this way forever. We have lost so much money on our IRA's and 401K's, Stocks, Real Estate, etc. The Dinar is already at its lowest, so I believe we just can't lose. The worst scenario is we get our money back. That is more that I can say about our other investments. Don't allow confusion to settle into your heart. This will RV when God says so, and no-one else. HE has it all under control!
  12. We could end up with too many 21 year old First Lady's during his term!! LOL
  13. Yes, my friend, I have seen first hand the devastation, but the majority of Americans have not. People do not understand what has transpired since the war. We can continue to pray and do whatever God places on our hearts to do. Please stay safe. I will lift you up before my Lord and Savior.
  14. In Iraq, This is not my opinion, this is the honest truth-NO!!!! Things have supposedly gotten better since 2004 in Iraq, according to the main stream media, but when I know people from St. George's Church who have gotten blown up, and our other Chaldean Church Mar Najat, in Karada, how can they say it has gotten better? If you are allowed outside the Green Zone, then you know exactly what I am talking about. Irbil and Ankawa are safe. Syria and Jordan are very, very, safe. Egypt is getting very dangerous, the hard core criminals have been let out of prison, deliberately. The streets are filthy with trash piled up everywhere. How many people see this on Fox or CNN? I wish you would post the pictures. I am prohibited from doing so for humanitarian reasons on sites such as these, but I have done so for other purposes. So, please share your experiences, and don't hold back anything, the beautiful, the big, the bad and the ugly! Stay safe and thank you for your sacrifice.
  15. Butkus51, How do you know I have not taken pictures or do not have videos? I would never post videos on this site or pictures to jeopardize any one's safety. And what do you know about the Doctors in Iraq, Egypt, and other war torn countries? Well, let me tell you a few things about my doctor friends who are in Iraq and some who used to live in Iraq who are now living as poor refugees and have to take their exams all over again in order to practice medicine. Iraqi doctors are scared to death for their lives. Several of my personal doctor friends have witnessed their colleagues death right before their very eyes, so don't you talk to me about the doctors in the country, because you are clueless. The military has sent children here to the U.S. for medical treatment, what does that tell you about the grave situation and lack of care? In the M.E. their winter season is nothing but rain, so where do you think that water is going to go when the sewage system is non-functional? Once again, I am going to tell you our media here will never show you what the Middle East media shows. Please go online and watch for yourself. There are plenty of live Middle-Eastern news reporting channels that you can see for yourself, don't take my word for it, as you haven't. It bothers me so bad to read posts from individuals who are not diverse and have no knowledge about world affairs. I stand to gain nothing from my post. I was merely posting my travels and what I witnessed first hand. My main reason for my post is to let everyone know that there is something else behind the Dinar not RVing, and I love the fact that the members eyes are wide open! And for your information, my main reason for going to the M.E. was related with medical treatment and not for myself, either.
  16. Good Morning BIGman, Please read my post again. I never said I went to Libya. Libya does not border with the countries that I serve. Jordan and Syria are very close to each other and you can drive into Syria in an hour and then within another hour and a half you are into Damascus. Baghdad is a 12 hour drive with stopping from both Jordan and Syria. Egypt is only 6-8 hours by car from Jordan. Lebanon is only an hour away from Syria. BTW, by plane, it is a half hour ride. I really don't have to prove anything to you or anyone else, but I would love to e-mail you my entry and exit stamps on my passport if you need to verify my integrity. I am not even going to get into why I was in the Middle-East because I do not want to jeopardize myself or my family's safety. Adam Montana has me on his FB page, and I have posted some pictures from the M.E. so he can verify the legitimacy of my post. I am very sorry for you that you are not acquainted with people who can and do go to these countries within two weeks. You don't need two weeks, either.
  17. Amen!! Amen!! Amen!! I am a believer and I know this is all getting set up for the end times, that is why I am not worried about the events that are unfolding before my very eyes. I know the end of the book! God has lifted the veil off my eyes a long time ago as far as the war in Iraq and the Dinar. I know this will RV, and I know Babylon will be rebuilt, only to be destroyed by the North, which is Russia I believe. What sickens me is the horrible corruption on all sides, the Iraqi contractors, Haliburton, Royal Dutch Shell, BP Oil, and the list goes on and on. Again, it is the Trillionaires of the world who are behind all of this, The Rothschild Family, The Rockefeller's, George Soro, etc. etc. They are first here on earth, but they will be last in God's Kingdom!!
  18. I am positive it is neither Iran, China or the Chaos in the M.E. that is holding this up. I love that our DV members are starting to see the real picture! I have said it before, I will say it again, Iraq is not being controlled by the Iraqi's! We need to stop blaming Maliki, Shabibi and the uprising. It is all part of the plan! Sorry, but President Obama is just another puppet as well. I believe that if he didn't go along with all of this corruption, he too would be eliminated! This all started before his time. I am not defending his policies, I didn't vote for him, but I do believe he inherited a raw deal.
  19. Bagdaddy, They are all sick of the government. They think Maliki is not looking out for their interests. They think the government officials are all a bunch of crooks. They think the U.S., Israel and the West are controlling everything. They do however believe things will get better but they have no hope that it will be any time soon because they keep getting empty promises. They have heard this same song and dance for over 7 years now! The poor are getting poorer, the rich are getting richer, and the only future business owners that are excited are outside investors. Sounds a little like the U.S.
  20. Biker, I am so glad you said it and not me!! My thoughts exactly! I have to be careful what I say, because I am an Iraqi/American and what I know as factual is perceived differently coming from me, so vent on!! It is the truth!! BTW, don't worry about your spelling!
  21. It is so goooood to be home!! My heart is torn though for the Iraqi's. There is no reason for things to continue the way they are. There are millions of displaced Iraqi Refugees all over the world now. Everywhere you walk in Syria, there are Iraqi's! You would think you were in Iraq! Same for parts of Amman. I can't wait to rejoice when this finally RV's. I'm sick of all of this!
  22. Hello Everyone, I have really missed reading DV for the last two weeks as I was in the Middle-East. Something strange is going on and I don't think Maliki or Shabibi is behind it. While I was there, I spoke with many, many Iraqi's about every topic including the Dinar. I watched countless of news reports from hundreds of Middle-Eastern channels that I didn't even know existed. Everything I heard and watched were quite different than what is being reported here in the States. There is something more to the Dinar not RVing and I wish I could put my finger on it. I remember several months ago economist were predicting oil to reach $120.00 a barrel and we are almost there. Hmmm! The Revolution in the Middle-East is being fueled by outside influences, not just in country. What I did observe is that the demonstrations in Iraq still had a civilized tone to them and were unlike Libya or Egypt, in spite of their horrible living conditions. Water from the sewers were up to the middle of their legs, streets were polluted with trash and the kids were playing in this mess. It was awful to say the very least. Borders from Iraq were being heavily monitored and they were not letting anyone come in or out unless you had legitimate clearance to do so. I even had to have my Iris scanned! Alot of things that I have read from these sites are just not the true picture in the M.E. For example, in Jordan, there were only approximately 25 people protesting after praying in the Mosque, yet when I watched CNN, it appeared to be thousands! Syria has been totally calm and could care less, going about life as usual. We will see if that changes. The Syrians are very happy with life there. Egypt has become a disaster. There are thousands and thousands of hard core prisoners that are roaming the streets and crime is on the rise. Trash and the stench will knock you off of your feet. I have never seen such unsanitary conditions as in Egypt. Streets have miles and miles of garbage piled up everywhere. There is no security and no real Government enforcing anything currently. Libya is a whole different story. In my opinion, this is where most of the U.S. and the West will be focusing on for the time being and I know the oil is playing a huge role in all of this. So, as far as the Dinar and Iraq, all I can say is I hope and pray something happens soon, because things just aren't adding up. Iraq is in a mess and there is absolutely no reason why this should not have RV'd by now. If Shabibi was the one in full control, I believe he would have done it by now. This is not just my opinion, but it is everyone's opinion that is an Iraqi. We all think that the Iraqi Government are just puppets for now. Shabibi could have finished this off a long time ago, so the real question is who and what is stopping him and why?
  23. Iraq is free? Millions of Iraqi's are free? Really? According to who? Maybe we should ask the Iraqi's if this is how they feel. I know it won't always be like this, and I hope and pray things begin to change quickly. I am so sorry for your son. That is my point, nobody wins, we all lose.
