I also had my MC Debit card not work. I sent an email and rcvd a note stating we would be notified as soon as that area was up and running again. I have been waiting for that email for about a week now. Just thought I'd let you know someone else is in that boat also....

Thought I would provide info on this.... Went to the main Warka Bank site and everything looks normal (up & working)... But, when I tried logging into my online account a notice came up saying "The Online Banking is Down Starting Dec. 30th thru end of Year for Banks Year end Procedures" take it for what it;s worth..... Just sayin.....

Time limit on cash in ? whether I agree or not doesn't matter because I have no clue to be honest....BUT your thoughts on being prepared and having a plan with multiple cash in options makes perfect sense and for those that have a functional plan there should be no added stress.... Great Post ---- I would like to hear your thoughts on planning and advice on the who what where as far as contacting a bank in advance so when the time comes it a 1 - 2 - 3 process...Thanks

Steve, Do what you have to do... and talk to whoever you need to.... No need to waste time explaining your every move & answering all the questions,,,,,, But it is appreciated when you update with new info.... I have read the threads on this topic and have set up my internal beneficiaries. I have tried twice to transfer funds from my IQD to my USD acct with no results and have sent multiple emails. Below is the last I sent and the reply from Warka. If someone can help me it would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance, My Email.......As stated, I am trying to transfer from my IQD account to my USD account. (I already have a debit card set up) I am the same client with two separate accounts. I am asking how I can do this. I have already set up my internal beneficiaries but was unable to transfer funds from one account to the other. Are you stating that I cannot do this with my online account and if so who and how do I notify the bank when I want to do so. Please advise and send instructions on how I can transfer funds. The Response...Dear Sir, Yes, you cannot transfer between separate accounts with your online account. Since you have two separate accounts the transfer will be between different customers and this Internet function is currently unavailable. I would have to agree with your statements. Having been vested since 2004 I am enjoying the new info as well as the activity and hope for a positive conclusion. If not, I knew the risk going in. What I don't understand is the amount of people who are crazed by all of this --- kinda scary... When one of your fore mentioned experts comes online in the Chat Room it's nuts... It would be nice to have a Forum of adults sharing pertinent info without the B.S....

First post but have been invested on the advice of a banker friend since 2005. I am hearing both sides of the spectrum telling us everything from it's happening right now to are we all nuts for believing in the info on this site. I thought for all of you that are like me I'd share a childhood story of mine. One hot summer evening in the early sixties my father and uncle were having a very heated discussion in our kitchen in a suburb of Illinois. My mom, aunt and us five kids were in the back yard. Because we had no air conditioning you could hear the words, tone and could only wonder what was going on. Finally my father who had survived the great great depression, was a world war 2 vet & matriarch of our family...... POUNDED the kitchen table and said "Frank, THERE IS NO _OD _AMM WAY ANYONE WOULD PAY FIFTEEN CENTS FOR A HAMBURGER OR FRIES !!!! My father and uncle spent a combined 70 plus years working in factories. When my uncles fortune 500 company went bankrupt he lost all of his pension. My father passed away a bitter man. The friend of my uncle was on of the first investors in a franchise called McDonalds and later owned many stores. MY father taught me a lot about morals and ethics, but that day he taught me something very important --- "NEVER SAY NEVER" -- Good luck to all of us and thanks to all that have served.
