I would have to somewhat disagree with those thoughts....ok really disagree.....you will not see the small denominations on the street or being sold on the street UNTIL the value of the currency raises enough to warrant them being released....why would there be any on the streets if they are useless and no one will accept them? Until they are officially released and the value goes up tremendously you will not see them being issued or sold otherwise it defeats the purpose of what they are trying to accomplish, which is keeping citizens from having to go shopping and make purchases with pillow cases or bags stuffed with money!!! the purpose is to make cash transactions easier for the marketplace, not harder....yes those certain coins are for sale on ebay, but those are not the uncirculated ones we are waiting to be released by the CBI....those being sold are the ones from 2004 that were released and then retracted soon after because they served no purpose and were very unpopular so those coins being sold are NOT OF LEGAL TENDER.....more like a collectors item...... most everything else kaperoni was saying i would have to agree, this process does take time and Iraq is not ready for it yet and we will not be seeing this RV in the next 30 days.....i still think sept/oct would be the earliest we see movement on the dinar begin.....

Its not that they are completely refusing to attend the meeting.....its only if they can not all come to an agreement on the three presidencies and that includes the PM position.....but from what Im reading elsewhere it seems that they are all starting to come around and actually are putting their differences aside to get this show on the road.....there is a good possibility that we will see the three positions agreed on and elected into office!!!

I have the patience....I just know TONS of people on here have none or it is wearing out real quick!!! Thats alot to ask of them in one meeting I mean the President shouldnt be hard because most agree on Talabani I believe to take that position again and Speaker of the House shouldnt be hard either.....but PM.....that could prove to be difficult.....just get the president elected so that it will put another deadline in place for them to parlay until....sheesh......

Its not that we are doubting him or ungrateful for him sharing his info....no one is bashing him either.....but its the matter of proving what you say....we dont think he would purposely lie about anything....we just wanna see proof....most people arent going to believe things just off hearsay in this investment....at least not me....i gotta see it to believe it.....and alot of people on this site are tired of hearing things that people say without being able to back them up cause it all ends up to have no truth to it.....i believe his intentions are good....but do you know how many times we have heard about the smaller denoms and every single time no one has been able to show proof??? thats what this is about and you have to understand that.....as much money as people have thrown into this investment its not something that I could just go off hearsay and feel ok about it but its nothing personal....

Only two countries in the ME are really bad as far as the CPI rating goes and thats Iraq and Iran....and if you notice the most corrupt countries are also some of the poorest economically speaking as well.....poor countries and nations get that way due to INSTABILITY somewhere down the line....because if these countries had control of themselves, the people, and their situation then they would be able to turn things around for the good of the country, instead of just basically the govt looking out for itself and not the good of the nation and its people.....thats a lack of stability, proving that you cant control the economic situation in your own country or nation.....poor economic growth and prosperity is a result of instability and the lack of being able to control corruption....it will run rampid in a poor country because it comes to the point where everyone has to look out for themselves and will do ANYTHING to make sure they survive even if it means killing, stealing, lying, commiting fraud and the list can go on....its all related.....corruption and instability economically are related in one way or another.....

Its no smoke and mirrors.....we wont see anything happen until they have a govt in place....even then its not going to be the FIRST thing that happens....as much as we want to believe it, the RV is not the number one priority for them.....

Yes and in order for them to drop the zeros or remove the bigger bills from circulation, they will have to raise the value of the dinar.....something like this (a RV) takes YEARS to plan out when starting from scratch because so many things have to be right and in place so it can be done successfully....there are articles dated back to 2005 about them raising the value of the dinar and the steps it takes to achieve it....there is one post inparticular that might change your mind....it was by Enorreste called the Definitive Response to Gjrl1978 and the facts behind the plan to RV.....its all backed up by articles coming from shabibi's mouth himself....see if you can find it....if not PM me your email and I will send it to you....I know Kuwait is a different story but it even took them 6 years just to RI their currency to what it once was because there are alot of things that need to happen and be in place....not too much a difference in that respect as Iraq....

Actually corruption does play a factor in this because it shows INSTABILITY.....which is the key component to so many things holding back Iraq right now.....its the single most important thing they need to solve at this point in time....and the value of their currency has NOTHING to do with decreasing or increasing corruption.....RVing will NOT solve corruption and fix all their problems.....if it were that easy hell im sure this woulda happened the day after we invaded.....

The World Bank, the IMF, and the CBI......they put together what it would take to get the dinar back on the global marketplace as it once was, and they have been working on it since 2003 after the invasion and we took over the country....its part of the rebuilding plan....you cant put the country back together without figuring the monetary policy as well and changes needed for the country to prosper.....

Well not to freak anyone out but stability is the key factor here......if they cant control themselves and the citizens of the country then we have a problem.....they have been wanting to reinstate the dinar to the global marketplace for sometime now and but havent been able to justify it yet because of economic problems and instability, alot of that stemming from oil production....yes they are up and pumping again but number one, its not nearly enough in their eyes to support reinstating it yet because of the falling prices in oil and the falling demand for oil as well....and number two they want to get other sectors up and going because they dont want their economy to have to stricktly rely just on oil production.....which they need the govt in place first in order for them to be able to move forward in the private sector....not necessarily an RV....BUT....and thats a big BUUUUUTTTTT....this thing has been in the works for YEARS and I think that it shall be over soon just as long as they can get the govt together and show they can handle themselves and the country which is why ive been thinking that we might not see any movement until October at the earliest....we probly wont see the govt seated until the end of this month, which I hope they will prove me wrong, but given the circumstances and how long this process has taken so far, that is unlikely....and as much as WE would like to think that the very first thing that is going to happen is them RV/RI the currency thats not their number one priority.....

Because they cant stop selling and hoard it all for themselves.....there are rules and regulations set in place for currency dealers....dont get me wrong Im sure that Ali and others have there own stockpile, or hell he is probly exchaning alot of our US dollars we are paying with for Dinar.....If they are currency dealers they will more then likely continue to sell even after it RV's.....the amount of Dinar that they are shipped to recieve is shipped to them to be sold....NOT to be held onto because its going to RV....they would probly pump even more closer to the time because the more that we have to exchange with them, the more money they are going to make on the return side when it does RV.....
