  1. I have 1,210,000 IQD for sale. I purchased them from Fifth Third several years ago. They are circulated bills. I would prefer cash transaction arrangement local to the area. $750 or best offer.
  2. I have nothing to confirm this - but I've heard you will not be able to get smaller bills during this as part of the rv process and you not being an Iraqi citizen.
  3. I don't know what the validity of this is -- but the rumor is the US Treasurey has bought up quite a bit of Dinars. If Iraq rv's their currency and the US Treasurey cashs it out in a lump sum that would likely screw their economy up. The thought is that Iraq is working with the US Treasurey to have their currency held back before they sell it back to Iraq....kinda of like what China has done to the US - except China made a bad investment.
  4. The ads in USA Today have nothing to do with the paper but rather someone willing to fork over the cost of the advertisement. I wouldn't read too much into those statements.
  5. That's fine - but how can you interact on a global market if your currency is worth less than a nice roll of charmin toilet paper? You're better off revalueing it and taking the hit - because your economy will be better off in the long run.
  6. I agree - it means nothing right now...actually that nothing has happened.
  7. Yep - I watch the meeting live on Friday morning.
  8. Interesting post - but I wonder how Iraq will have to start paying Kuwait back as the UN Sec Council dictated on Dec 21 of 2009 - they said Iraq will have to start payments by April 1st of this year. With the Dinar so low I'm not sure how that's possible.
  9. I'm hopeful - but I'll believe it when it's in the bank
