Since the beginning of the crisis between Baghdad and Erbil, it became crystal clear that Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is just a puppet in the hands of Mullahs regime.

Abadi didn't take a single step to solve the pressing issues, but he rather waited for Mullah's response first in every single decision, analysts told The Baghdad Post.

He knew that he can't face it alone, and he has to stick to the plan which is set by Iran, experts added.

Iraqis also have many inquiries that require immediate answers. Is Abadi a real PM with an independent decision? When will ever Iran stop interfering in Iraq's affairs and fate?

Since the beginning of the crisis, Tehran took the lead in in negotiations with Erbil, with complete ignorance to Baghdad regime.

Iran also threatened it will invade Kurdistan region if the independence referendum was held.

Iranian and Iraqi armies are holding joint drills in a blatant signification that Iran is running the crisis.

Iranian TV quoted a military spokesman as saying that the drills decision was taken after a meeting for Iranian military commanders in Tehran, noting that Iran intends to deploy more Iraqi troops at the borders.

Iran also decided to stop oil shipment to and from Kurdistan region.

Iraqi government resorted to pleading for regional and international help from countries similar to Iran to tackle the standing issues and that is the main reason behind this crisis that is becoming more and more complicated.

Kurdistan as stumbling block against Iran

Baghdad policy gave these countries a chance to interfere in Iraq's domestic affairs, exploiting the situation to serve their interests.

Just a few days after the declaration of the semi-defeat of ISIS terror group, the Kurdistan region declared it will hold the independence referendum.

This forced Baghdad regime to resort to Tehran again to save it.

Iran exploited the chance to expand its domination in Iraq under the disguise of fighting ISIS terrorists.

After ISIS defeat, it became clear that Iraq has an army of militias which actually considered as Iranian army inside Iraq.

Experts said that Kurdistan referendum will be a pretense for more Iranian hegemony over Iraq.

Mullahs regime is seeking to get rid of Kurdish Peshmerga forces by Engaging it in the civil war.

Iran sees Kurdistan as the stumbling block for the implementation of its sectarian Shiite crescent scheme, analysts further said.

Iraq has to freed themselves from Iran if they want to unite the country. If Iraq still rely on Iran, they will cause more separation because as you can see right now, many Iraqi citizen want Iraq to be democratic. Not become Iran puppet. That's why current component agreed to unite in 2003-2006 until nouri al Maliki take over Iraq reign. If they remove Iran influence in GOI, they had chance to become economic superpower. Thats something that Iran don't want to see.
