(Independent) .. Many hope that the election of Mohammed Fuad Masum, the president of Iraq beginning to resolve the deepening political crisis between the various factions, especially between the center and the province of Kurdistan.

Masum said in a speech on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, I salute the determination of our people to continue the process of building a democratic Iraq, and their quest to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, unity and harmony in spite of schemes designed to tear the social fabric, and despite the conspiracies aimed to thwart the democratic experiment.

He said we have taken in these exceptional circumstances, the critical steps effective and substantial, including the election of the Speaker and his deputies, and the election of the President of the Republic, according to the timings constitutional. He also stressed at the meeting with the President of the former parliament, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani that Iraq is in transition to a serious need for concerted efforts by all political forces to pass this critical phase and the formation of a broad-based, noting the need to reach an overall solution to the underlying problems.

Kurdish Parliament for his part declared its support for the infallible, asking him to exercise its role in addressing the differences between the province and the federal government.

A statement from the presidency of the parliament, the parliament speaker Yusuf Mohammed Sadiq expressed the wish to reach conversation with the President of the Republic to return the relationship between the regional parliament and the president of the republic benefit the citizens of the province.
