Which will happen first

I'd prefer the Rapture, but He might have more for us to do before He comes back and we could sure use the resources to do it with. As always, it's His call! But several of us have been comparing the wait to the Rapture. If only we really wanted it to come like many want the RV to come...

My short and sweet comment on Jesus' Olivet Discourse:

Rapture of the Church could happen anytime. But the 2nd coming is 1,290 days after the abomination of desolation, midpoint of the 7-year Tribulation. 2nd coming is Jesus physically coming to the earth. Harpazo/Rapture is the body of believers meeting the Lord in the air. Another way to explain the parables is two separate types of 2nd comings, removal of Jesus' Bride before Tribulation then Jesus returning with His Bride.

So my 2 dinars is the RV will happen first and we will see Iraq/Babylon become the center of world trade then the 2nd coming. Rapture or if you get hit by a bus, could be tomorrow.

There is no better time to get right with God then now.

Where's the proof there is a difference from the second coming and the rapture?

Not being rude,just asking.I've studied the bible and I no longer believe the mainstream 'pre tribulation rapture' theory.

I believe it is a deception that will leave many Christians unprepared for the coming suffering and persecution.

They've got everyone believing they're gonna be whisked away on a cloud and never have to suffer for Jesus.

I will happily and joyfully take the Rapture any day, for then my once beautiful Lead Bass choir voice shall be restored and I can sing His Praises for all Eternity in the Heavenly Choir!

After my first choise, certainly I would settle for the earthly thing the RV.
