1.) The legal drinking age should be moved to 18. if you can vote , drive a car or die for you country you should be able to drink.

2.) It is rediculous that marajuna is not legal. not as a pothead but as a realist. i mean viagra...really! I think i would be happier knowing my grandpa got high more than an erection.

3.0 people take this stuff to seriously. i mean there is such a slim chance that we could loose all our money and so really there is nothing to be so uptight about. just makes me laugh at all the comments then retorts then comments on the retorts. you dont even know these people. anyways funny stuff.

4.) does anyone else have their chest hair meeting up with their beard.

5.)farming is where its at man. i think we should all be in touch with our roots( both metaphorically and literally).

Just think of what the US could save on prison guards and other law enforcement salaries and retirements, court fees (IE: jury fees, public defenders, etc), and income from taxes. That would be one heck of a windfall !! (Booze is legal and addictive. MJ is neither) I'm sure I forgot others costs associated with legalization, but someone will correct me.

Without a doubt one of the most interesting posts I've ever read on this site. Kind of reminds me of beatnik...which I really enjoy. Kudos! I like it, may I try?

1. Who cares if Obama was born in Kenya? It would take longer to impeach him now that to vote him out in Nov 2012. So live with it and get prepared to vote next year.

2. Do dogs really smile? I think mine does...they are so happy, why wouldn't they?

3. Why isn't prositution legal in America? It would be healthier all around for both the John's and the girls (and guys).

4. I think Coffee should have vitamins in it...we drink it all the time, so why shouldn't it be good for you as well?

5. I like to hear people laugh, I mean a good hardy laugh that brings tears to their eyes...I have a video of my Grandfather laughing like that (he died 3 years ago)...whenever I get sad or blue...I play it and it makes me happy.

It's scary enough to share the roads with 18 year olds knowing that a significant number of them are drinking and driving... I know. I know. There are always the exceptional people who are mature beyond their years, but really they are a very small percentage of the whole. I was 18 once (although I probably acted like it for a few years too long) and in retrospect the voting and driving aspect of your point is weak indeed.

I have the greatest respect for the men and women in the military and have no problem with them being allowed to drink at the enlisted or NCO clubs. However, if an 18 y o isn't defending freedom as an active member of the armed services, NO!

Back to driving and voting: I've seen too many young people texting and driving way too stupidly on busy highways and my opinion is changing regarding licensing requirements. Maybe we should extend the learner permit until age twenty one. Voting? REALLY? Most 18 year olds don't understand the responsibility of the power they have over a four-thousand pound guided missile on our highways and Washington is a big enough mess. WORD.
