Credible news sources are stating that Iraq has a plan

in place to introduce new denominations of the Iraqi Dinar

and phase out OUR large Iraqi dinar notes by the end of 2010.

You can't carry around a 25,000 IQD bill and purchase groceries ... after the Rv , assumoing it is around $ 1.40 or so... then that same bill has exchanged to $ 35,000 USD. That 's a heck of alot of groceries... So, they will destroy the bills we have now and print the smaller bills for commerce. Just like we did with our $ 1,000 and $ 500 bills.

And we trade in between 1 and 2

I just want to make sure that I am not reading this as 25,000 dinar note is now worth 25 and at a RV of 1.00 my 25,000 dinar note is now worth 25 dollars?

This is exactly what I see happening. I don't understand why people are excited. Can someone, anyone post a link that says the RV has happened. If not this goes along w/ all those LOP links that are surfacing.

I think it is real simple....once this goes into effect one can change in an old 25,000 dinar note (like the ones we are holding) for a new 25 dinar note. Both will be accepted in Iraq for the same value. So if a goat costs 25,000 dinar today after this deal takes effect you can buy a goat with an old 25,000 dinar note or a new 25 dinar note.....am I reading that right?

I'm thinking it's .0008669276 (or whatever today) to .87. Lopping the three zeros from the bill itself would be very upsetting to the entire investing world.
