It will change the way we shop. A company that will make out in a huge way is VeriFone, symbol PAY. They just announced a partnership with Google to provide this new technology. VeriFone has their quarterly report coming out after the close on June 2nd. They should have a monsterous quarter. They've been one of if not the top stock performers for the last two years.

i think this will be "neat," but unless this thing can provide a suitable ID, gym membership card, AAA card, grocery store coupon card, etc...folks are going to still need to carry a wallet.

I mean, if I can get pulled over by a cop and hand him my phone and have that be sufficient, then i might stop carrying a wallet. Until then, having a credit card on my phone is just novelty.
