The company announced the general grain trade plans to buy/100/thousand tons of wheat from all origins.

A statement of the Ministry of Commerce was quoted Director General of the company, Jabbar as saying that: " The company seeks to provide bread, rice, citizens and by the nature of economic activity, the import of wheat, rice ورفد ration card with them."

Jabbar said: " That the amount that had been contracted for this year in the past two months with/850/thousand tons were secure in the three months, this level of engagement did not reach to the ministry for many years."

He said: " That the country's actual needs of wheat up to four million/500/thousand tons, and secured through imports and domestic production after the end of the growing season."
