We are witnessing a logical

progression of events with regards

to Iraq and their economic, societal,

and political recovery.

1. The establishment of a quasi - unified governing body

2. Lifting [ at least in part ] of some Chapter 7 sanctions

3. Budget Discussions and move towards final reading,

and hopefully after some mods , a final approval

of the budget

4. An increase in daily oil production -- the country's most

apprised asset by the global market place at the moment

5. Significant talks / negotiations / contracts for business /

commodities / goods / services in Iraq

6. Significant renewed interest in the economic / societal /

and political growth of Iraq by foreign leaders / dignitaries /

and international bodies .

US and IMF are two that quickly come to mind.

While it has been stated previously there are alot of poor people in Iraq,

there are reasons to believe this can change over time.

And so can the value of the currency.
