Kuwaiti police are investigating a claim by a Moroccan woman that her Kuwaiti husband had offered her to another man for sex to settle a loan.

Manama: Kuwaiti police are investigating a claim by a Moroccan woman that her Kuwaiti husband had offered her to another man for sex to settle a loan.

According to Kuwaiti daily Arab Times, the police launched a probe after the husband alerted the Maidan Hawalli police that his wife had been missing. However, when she was found, the wife said that she had run away after her husband offered her to another man to have sex in exchange for dropping his loans, the paper reported.

In April, British media said that a taxi passenger offered his wife to a 38-year-old Bolton taxi driver for sex to settle a £10.50 fare.
