Talabani urges Obama to implement signed agreements

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi President Jalal Talabani called on U.S. President Barack Obama to implement the signed agreements between Baghdad and Washington, according to a presidential statement.

“Talabani sent a cable of congratulation to President Obama on Thanksgiving occasion, in which he urged him to implement the signed agreements between the two countries,” said the statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

I don't think the US is going to hold back signing an agreement that will delay the RV. Obama wants his name and pic in the headlines too, even if he doesn't deserve the credit.

Obama and Biden deserve more credit that you think. There have been many undisclosed meetings between them all. The formation if the Iraqi government was assisted by the Obama Administration mainly Biden under Obama's watch.

Bush started it. Obama finished it. Remember, Obama could have ended the war as soon as he took over the office. So give thanks to him for not doing that.
