BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Al-Iraqiya Coalition, led by former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, has decided to present its candidates for the new cabinet later on Sunday, to include 11 ministers, according to its spokesman, Shaker Kattab. “Al-Iraqiya Coalition has decided to present its candidates for the new cabinet, led by Prime Minister Designate Nouri al-Maliki, in one group, comprising its candidates for the National Council for Strategic Studies (NCSS), Vice-President and Deputy Prime-Minister, along with 11 cabinet ministers,” Kattab told Aswat al-Iraq news agency, but refrained to announce the names of candidate ministers, due to “security reasons.” Kattab also said: “Our candidate for the Chairmanship of the National Council for Strategic Studies is al-Iraqiya Leader, Iyad Allawi, whilst Tareq al-Hashimi is our candidate for the Vice-President’s post and Saleh al-Mutlaq for the Deputy Prime-Minister’s post,” adding that al-Iraqiya’s candidates for different ministries have been selected according to its election rights. AGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq’s Prime Minister Designate, Nouri al-Maliki, the Chairman of al-Iraqiya Coalition, Iyad Allawi and the Chairman of National Reform Trend, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, have discussed in Baghdad on Saturday night, necessity to accelerate the formation of the new government, reiterating its support through boosting trust among different political components, according to a statement by Jaafari’s office on Sunday. “Jaafari had conferred with Maliki and Allawi on Saturday night, and their meeting had discussed necessity to accelerate the formation of the new government, through boosting trust among political components and the formation of institutions that would serve the interest of the establishment of the State,” the statement, copy of which landed in Aswat al-Iraq news agency said. December 19, 2010 - 09:17:54 BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Al-Iraqiya Coalition, led by former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, has nominated Falah al-Naqib for the Defense Minister’s post and Maisoun al-Damalougi for the Culture Minister’s post in the new Iraqi cabinet, scheduled to be announced by Prime Minister Designate, Nouri al-Maliki on Monday, al-Iraqiya’s Legislature, Intisar Allawi, said on Sunday. “Al-Iraqiya Coalition has nominated Falah al-Naqib for the Defense Minister’s post and Maisoun al-Damalougi for the Culture Minister’s post, along with Hussein al-Shaalan for the State Minister and Mohammed Allawi for the Communications Ministers posts,” Intisar Allawi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency, but said that “nobody had been nominated for the deputy prime minister’s post.” The Legislature for the National Alliance, Mohammed Seihud, had told Aswat al-Iraq earlier that three personalities have been nominated for the deputy prime minister’s post, one from the National Alliance, the other from the Kurdistan Coalition and the third from al-Iraqiya Coalition. He said that each of the three Coalitions had nominated three candidates, pointing out that the State of Law Coalition, led by PM Maliki, had nominated Hussein al-Shahristani, whilst Al-Daawa Party - Iraq Organization, had nominated Khudhier al-Khuzae for the post, but he did not name the Sadrist Trend’s candidate for the new deputy prime minister’s post. Different Iraqi political blocs had been preocupied over the past few days to nominate their candidates for the leading posts in the new government, including the posts of vice-president, deputy prime-minister and differerent cabinet posts, among a sharp competition to gain some of the leading ministries and high positions in the government. The semi-official al-Iraqiya TV Satellite Station had quoted the State Minister for Parliament Affairs, Safauddin al-Safi, as saying on Saturday that Maliki had presented an official demand to the Parliament to form his cabinet on Monday. Iraqi President Jalal Talabani on 25/11/2010, had officially assigned the candidate of the National Alliance, Nouri al-Maliki, to form the new government, provided he would complete his mission within 30 days from the date. You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns, and you know you're not getting out. Your family is 1/2 way around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out , you know this is the day. Then, over the machine gun noise, you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter, and you look up to see an un-armed Huey, but it doesn't seem real, because no Medi-Vac markings are on it. Ed Freeman is coming for you. He's not Medi-Vac, so it's not his job, but he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire, after the Medi-Vacs were ordered not to come. He's coming anyway. And he drops it in, and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 2 or 3 of you on board. Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire, to the Doctors and Nurses. And, he kept coming back.... 13 more times..... And took about 30 of you and your buddies out, who would never have gotten out. iv'e told several close friends. none invested. most say hmmm interesting, one said id get totally hosed on this deal. the teller lady at bank thinks its a scam. i cant wait till she help me at the bank and theirs tons of money in there and i can say well i told you to invest. i tell friends and family because if i didn't when it flips, then i can honestly say i tried to tell you about it.cause they kinda look at you like you wasted your money.
