Officer151
This is nothing more than another rumor that is baseless and without merit. It seems they are all coming out of the woodwork now.
Legolas
This is nothing more than another rumor that is baseless and without merit. It seems they are all coming out of the woodwork now. Looks like it might be true. Big story on CNN just came out stating that Allawi is saying that the power-sharing issue is dead. Hopefully they'll work it out, but it doesn't look good. http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/meast/11/12/iraq.allawi/index.html?hpt=T2 Part of the article: Baghdad, Iraq (CNN) -- Former Iraqi Prime Minister Ayad Allawi offered Friday a grim prediction for the future of Iraq's government a day after leading his Iraqiya bloc's walkout from parliament in a dramatic display of unhappiness with a power-sharing agreement that had been forged earlier in the week. "We think the concept of power-sharing is dead now," the secular Shiite told CNN. "It's finished."

We should know pretty soon whether Allawi and the List show up for Parliament. Hard to believe Maliki would allow this deal to fall apart, so we'll have to wait and see.
