Baghdad, Oct.18 (AKnews) – A spokesman for the al-Iraqiya List led by former Prime Minister Ayad Allawi said that his bloc will formally announce its support today for the candidacy of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI)’s Adel Abdul Mahdi, for the premiership.

Al-Iraqiya’s Haider al-Mulla told AKnews that an official announcement will be made to the media in Baghdad in the coming hours to confirm this decision which he believes will be a step towards forming a national partnership government.
