LOL, that was me. My IQ is 145.(OOooooh, ain't that some happy horsesh*t!) But some days I would swear I'm not all there.

Seriously, poor Scooter can't even get his fingers on the keyboard before he gets slammed with 20 questions, most of them the same ones over and over. He really is a saint and a total sweetheart. I'm all for the mods shutting everyone down. It would be nice if there was a way to run the questions through the mods and let them select which ones make it through.

Well PVS we tried telling people to be quiet and let Scooter explain the smart cards and they still acted like a bunch of ten year olds. Maybe a solution would be to give instructions on the banner so that when they enter the room they know that this is not a regular chat session, and they should avoid all discussion that doesn't pertain to the current topic.

I don't enter the chat rooms often because of all the confusion. I agree that when someone like Scooter is in the chat room that it would be nice if everyone would simply 'sit on their hands' and 'give him the floor (room)' and just let him type and give information... then when he is finished let him say so and then 'open the room' for questions that were not answered in his posting.

This would be similar to how voice conferemce rooms handle information, i.e., the Mods block the phone lines of all except the main speakers until the speakers are finished, then they open up the phone lines for Q&A. Unfortunately I suppose the written chat rooms do not have that capbility. However, with upfront advance agreemen...and cooperation... these guidelines could still be followed. Just a suggestion.
