Whilst the media world is rightly focussed on the situation in Ukraine,  An impressive array of public figures from around the world are planning to meet at the European National Conservatism Conference, to be held from March 23-24 in Brussels.

 

The conference theme for the inaugural edition is ‘The Future of the National State in Europe’ and includes several European heads of state in attendance as well national party leaders, senior politicians and an eclectic mix of thought leaders, academics and journalists due to speak.

 

The National Conservatism Conference is a project of the influential Edmund Burke Foundation in the United States with the aim of strengthening the principles of national conservatism in Western and other democratic countries. ‘NatCons’ as they are fondly known have held previous events in the US, drawing in high ranking Senators and Congressmen including Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley alongside intellectual thinkers and writers such as Yoram Hazony and Chris du Muth, media moguls like Tucker Carlson and businessmen such as Peter Tiel.

 

The conference conveners say that the West, the anchor of the democratic world, faces unprecedented dangers. Almost overnight, the liberalism that held sway since the Second World War has been challenged by a progressive, cultural neo-Marxism making a bid to capture leading institutions on both sides of the Atlantic.

 

At the same time, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine threatens to upend the post-war order in Europe and beyond, adding to the challenges posed by open hostility of the Chinese regime, a geopolitical rival largely built by the U.S. over the past three decades. For some time now, we’ve witnessed the European Union usurp the authority of its sovereign member states and use the power of the purse to exact political and ideological compliance in areas such as energy security, social policy, and immigration. The West is threatened both internally and externally, and its deterioration threatens to take the other democratic nations down with it.

If this works for the corrupt, how are we to proceed using the same tactics? If we silence their bull horns, they will accuse us of what they have already been doing.

 

Bottom line, We will be accused of the same. When the time comes, I pray we all have the proper 'armor' to deflect the naysayers.

 

When Jesus drove the money changers (early time bankers) from the temple, I can only imagine what the vipers said about his acts. There are many examples of people trying to get out ahead of Jesus to sidetrack or ruin his good works and teachings. What was in their mind? Personal gain, wealth, power, self indulgence for improper deeds? I am reluctant to blame bad deeds on demons, but it does make one sometimes wonder...

 

When 'we' silence the propaganda, we will be chastised. But it will be worth it.

 

Popularity is overrated.

 

Truth feels good, and when I retire for the day, my sleep is calm as I recharge for the next day. I also remember the words written, no one is without sin. So I pray without ceasing, and continue to move forward 'without' a Devine word from our creator. Just faith and an open heart. Again, move forward.

 

On another note regarding full disclosure.  Letting the world see what a deviant person or group has fallen for is not necessarily best for everyone to see. If a person is weak, they will be drawn into the same evil. Let the courts hear the cases. If the Judges are unjust, the people will see where their priorities lye. They in turn will be judged.

 

The young or weak minded should be sheltered from the evils 'we' have heard about over the years. Always remember that you can't unsee things, once you've seen them. Those of us that 'have seen the evil' should guard ourselves from temptation. 

 

Everyone should to an extent always protect themselves, but be open to the truth. And I believe you should protect your family from what the evildoers are taunting in today's world. When younger children talk about these deviants that have been openly discussed by their peers, something is wrong with their peers. These are impressionable children.

 

Does anyone remember songs from their childhood, "be careful little minds what you do, be careful little minds what you hear, be careful little minds what you say,...." we need to take care of business as adults and spare the children from these deviants.

 

It is also written that if you are the reason for someone else's downfall, you will be judged accordingly. This scares the h_ll out of me.

 

I welcome change away from current times. I want change for the better, not to our demise.

Why are we so easily deceived?

Wasn't Adam & Eve our first lesson of guarding against deception?

 

Again, not directed at you CL, just bounced off your censored post. I want to thank you for your many posts on many topics. You seem to be calm, calculated and able to deflect the stone throwers with finesse. It appears you go through a multilevel process prior to a response.

 

When a stone is thrown, you tend to pick it up, place it in the stone pile, and respond accordingly to the thrower. This is golden to me. I will apologize ahead of time, my filter still has leaks.

This Conservative Convention being held in Brussels right now is being overwhelmed by the current NATO meetings....

 

It's very safe to say all information being released from the area is being monitored.....and/or censored.....

 

The PTB want a very united front to be displayed.  This conference, just like the Ukrainian people, are just in the wrong place at the wrong time..
