Thanks Umbertino.  Miles Davis was a staple back in the day for me.  A little Scotch, some MD and a cigar.  Great way to unwind.  I don’t drink or smoke anymore so it’s just not quite the same for me.  Great musician.

Hey Umbertino, Jefferson Airplane, Someone to Love, wow, that post( vid)  triggered some memories That was one of the main songs that defined the Haight Ashby, Hippie Era, Summer of Love in 1967.  Wow.  I was not driving in 67 but I was in 68 and I drove my 1961 VW Volkswagen Bug to San Francisco from Texas.  I didn’t even tell my folks.  I had to go!!.  I wish I could remember more from that trip.  I just remember being messed up the entire time.

Thanks for your testimonial, Pitcher......I would have loved living those times in Haight Ashbury...

 

But in 1967 I was just ten......Read about that ( counter-culture etc) only years later
