Mary B Posted June 5, 2020 Author Report Share Posted June 5, 2020 Al-Abadi and Al-Hakim stress the importance of respecting national sovereignty and achieving Iraq's interests in discussions with the United States Friday 05, June 2020 Baghdad / Nina / The head of the Victory Coalition, Haider al-Abadi and head of the Al-Hikma Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the need to respect national sovereignty and achieve the interests of Iraq and its people, with the launch of Iraqi-American talks, and to distance Iraq from the axes of conflicts that harm the Iraqi national interest. During the meeting, Al-Abadi’s meeting with Al-Hakim was stressed on the importance of unifying efforts to face the challenges that the country is going through and that the legislative and executive authorities complement work by moving the country in the right direction.
