MSC Cruise Lines

We're booked on the MSC Fantasia round trip out of Cannes, France this June with stops in Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Ajaccio (Corsica), Civitavecchia (Rome), La Spezia (Florence/Pisa) and Genoa (Milan/Portofino). Has anyone sailed with MSC? Any recommended excursions at these ports? We've only sailed with Carnival to the Eastern Caribbean and Norwegian around Hawaii so we don't have tons of cruise ship experience. We picked this one because it's a bucket list item and I want to go to the Grand Casino in Monte Carlo in a rented Aston Martin even though my wife says "You're NOT 007". hahaha

Cruise ships are floating bacteria incubators.

They make people sick, all packed on there like lemmings awaiting the slaughter.

Their water holds are nothing more than septic tanks.

They dump their waste & garbage into the sea.

Their "crew" assault passengers, put secret cameras in your cabin,

rob & rape you & escape Justice.

Some of the captive lemmings even get murdered & the Company is never held accountable

because it flies the flag of some s--thole nation which will NEVER permit Justice to be had by it's victims.

They put you on some p.o.s. 'transportation' on shore which is a death trap.

And the "Traveler's Insurance" is a joke.

No thanks.

Bon Voyage.     Good luck to you.  Nowadays you're taking a helluva chance with your life.

After almost 80 years of being the Queen of Cunard, I've seen it all go to hell in a handcart...

"cruising" on a floating toilet full of disease & criminals is no longer glamorous nor enticing.  <_<

Save yourself.... fly.

About Italy....When you arrive at those places and there's enough time you should give ita try ( you mentioned Rome, Florence, Pisa, Milan, Portofino among others)...All worth a visit....But I understand time is tight, unfortunately

Of course all the other spots in your list are interesting ones....Certainly Barcelona is a fantastic and beautiful city ( checked personally) and I heard good things also about Palma de Mallorca...I guess Ajaccio ( Corsica, France) is ok too....

Enjoy your trip!

Cruising the Mississippi in a  Corps of Engineers skiff is the closest I ever got to an actual cruise, xssdv.  I believe Umbertino will be your best bet for good tourist information.....disregard the other opinion, wallowing in that kind of misery won't enhance your travel experience.  Be safe and enjoy....post pics upon your return.  :D

GO RV, then BV

Thanks for the kind words, Shabs...But in all honesty I'm not that expert.....Visited some of those cities a long time ago.....

But the good thing is that  internet ( and books, guides, etc.) can help out a lot through websites, youtube, etc....Giving one even  2-day schedule programs ( or probably even less that that) in order to optimize and maximize one's limited time in a particular place....

Maybe we should send those 2 old ladies who need a long rest on a "cruise"....

Hey Nancy the-walking-cadaver Pelosi and Crazy Maxine Baker-Act Watters....

Here are 2 complimentary tickets for the floating toilet of your choice !

We suggest Carnival - it's the worst, er, best, yuh, the best of the lot !

BWAHAHAHAHA !

Bon Voyage ya Sea Hags !  :lol::wave::lmao:

I have been on the MSC DIVINA twice. Both times in the Caribbean. On MSC they treat you like family. The food was excellent and the ship was beautiful but I would expect nothing less from Italians. Ciao Umbertino!

Hello Capt1....I'm glad you enjoyed your trips in The Caribbean....

It's good you felt like family while cruising on  MSC......That's the way it should be infact....

Ciao!
