I have to think this is lip service, if true, on the part of the US, as they themselves have stated that they want the Iraqi's to retain their right to self political determination..so the US is stating this to be politically correct, but if we read all of the "US" statements coming out today, the US, directly, and in between the lines, is saying;"we want an inclusive govt." which is not how Maliki operates.
