We could make sense of this if we knew how many dinars have been printed.

I mean there has to be some control over how much the government would actually print.

 

Does not matter how much has been printed, it is the currency that the CBI has put into circulation that is important.

 

Any pallets of unissued banknotes in the CBI vaults are not in the equation.

Banknotes not in circulation are not counted as liabilities. The cbi reports 73T in liabilities. It could be holding some because it does not have the reserves to back them!
