doctor robbins Posted June 6, 2012 Report Share Posted June 6, 2012 If the dinar were to become a fiat currency its value would likely drop because there is zero faith in the country and its government. They're already having trouble maintaining the street value close to the official value. By the way, the US dollar is a fiat currency and yet excessive printing of new currency has led to a weakening of the USD so I don't see how anybody can conclude that the money supply doesn't matter with a fiat currency.
