It just blows me away, oops, bad phrase for this topic, that he can even say that Mayor Barry or Jesse Jackson have credibility with the young people. Maybe a certain ethnic part of young people that think it is ok to break laws and is cool to go to jail. Why don't we try brainwashing them into believing they should obey the laws and prison is not cool instead of blaming the guns. That is like trying to make us believe we should blame motor vehicles for drunk driving deaths.
